      Smile Paro - The Robotic Seal from Japan

      This is so cute (tho the "cry" could get kind of annoying).

      This seal is used for medical reasons with patients who have Alzheimer's, etc. it allows them to bond with an animal and have a therapeutic relationship with it when/where they would otherwise be unable to have or care for a pet.

      oh my god I would probably end up throwing that thing out the window after a while, haha.

      Really though, that is pretty cute, I like the reason why they invented it, it is very humanitarian.
