Rear projection LCD t.v. DOWNSIDE: THe bulbs blow, but not too often. Its not a flat panel but its only like 15-20 inches depth anyway. UPSIDE: The size range is tremendous (50-100 in.), Its also super light (like maybe 10-15 pounds) because theres no heavy tubes weighing it down. It generates almost no heat. The picture quality is super clear. Its really inexpensive. Most accept almost any input. ============================================= In my personal opinion i think that the rear projection LCD is really good. It workd the same way as a cathode ray t.v., but instead of cathode ray guns, its basically a mini LCD t.v. in it with a light bulb and lens to project it onto the (phosphorescent?) screen. Really awesome i reccomend it.
