      My first job :3

I'm going to get a job at Radioshack very soon! I just got back from a small job interview...well it was more like him telling me what I'd be doing and what goes on around the place.

Anyway, I'm supposed to go back there on monday at 4. I really can not wait! I won't be starting on monday, but I'm supposed to go there to get things signed and stuff.

      I'm happy :3

Now I can get money for things I want!

Getting your first job is amazing. I have a good job, but just working itself and supporting yourself feels good. Plus, you'll be amazed at how much money you get. Not counting my personal business', I make about $200 a month, and I work two days a week for about two hours each time (except on Saturdays, when it's like 5-6 hours). You can buy anything you want. I rarely, if ever, invest/save that money. I just spend it on clothes and shoes. You'll probably want to save that though.

Keep your money safe. Don't invest in the stock market unless you know what you're doing.

You'll probably end up learning a lot about machinery and circuits if you work at Radioshack too. My cousin works there, he knows a lot.

      Hahaha, I don't pay tax.

      HEY GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!

I'm actually a former RS employee!!!

You will learn so much about electronics, but I mean way more and better understanding than what Circuit City, Best Buy, ESPECIALY Wal-mart can offer.

Now I have a way better industrial job to fit my needs, but RS was a great place to make money and learn and have fun and meet great friends and play with the merchindise and the discounts and basicly DO STUFF!

Heck, my old manager sometimes asks me to stop by and get on the payroll for some hours just to fix up the store or help out with customers. I do it because of the good times and to relive some great memories.

DUDE!!! I'm here for ya if you have any questions on anything!

P.S. economy is slow and RS is known to be very pushy in making money, but hang in there.

Yeah, the first couple days are always the sketchiest, 'cause you're looking to be the best you can be, not screwing up in front of the boss and all that. Then afterwards you're all good and fall into a groove.

Congrats on the job, Slayer. Believe me when I say that Radioshack is an excellent first job. No; I've never worked at one... but of the few jobs I've had and have, I'd easily trade any for a spot at Radioshack. As long as you half-learn what gets frequently asked, I think you're golden. Props.

Earning your own cash will feel really good. I started working at a local supermarket(well..not exactly super sized but it's a huge chain) in June, I'm 17 right now and i earn roughly £150(bout $220?) a month working 8.5 hours a week(4.5 sat, 4 sun). When I'm 18 I'll get £200 for the same hours, which is only 6 weeks away, wooo!
Lugggs and cuddles and hugs for all!!

2nd day on the job, and I'm starting to like it.

I was actually dredding going to work and cleaning, but it's not all that bad.

Tell me about the radioshack job. I've got a radioshack within walking distance of my house, and I need a good job.

Here in a couple of weeks I'm going to apply for a job at this Sunharvest grocery store. Kinda sucks because I don't like the prospect of working in grocery stores.

Should be better than being stuck in an accounting office for eight hours in a row. In fact, that's where I'm writing from now.

I haven't been able to get hired since July of last year

I'm about to apply to work at Target, but I really don't want to fucking push carts for a living.

I've worked at Gamestop for the past few months.

      It's pretty baller.

I make roughly around 430 dollars a month.
