      How to tell if a karate class is cheesy or not

      I want to take karate, but I do not want to go somewhere cheesy or 'fake'. I already have my black belt in tai kwon do, but I need to take another karate class for school. Maybe a self defense course would be better for me, I don't know. I don't want to go someplace with the fake little trees and the the golden rule on he wall. Can anyone help me?

      Move this if nessacary, I have no clue where to post this.

      By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

      just go for an introductory sparring session and see who kicks whose ass, and you'll have your answer.
