Before we hit about the 18th and 19th century Russian lit, I was cruising! Now, however, it starts to get into interpretation of the author and character development and plot development. Yah, I suck at that. For example, I had to write a response paper on The Brigadier and I thought that the characters were reasonably developed in that play. Then I get to class and find out that once again my lack of literary interpretation rears its ugly head. I expect a B on the paper. Maybe she'll be nice since I put in some stuff that might have made me look kinda smart.
Anyone else struggle in lit classes? If so, any advice.... and what the heck is character development? *runs away* (I'll stick with language and syntax any day!)
