Ear wax should get pasty when wet. It's not actually a wax, it dissolbes in water. About the colour, I dunno. It sounds perfectly normal to me. |

A question on the matter of earwax color
In the past mine used to be bright/dark yellow and actually had the consistency of wax. However over the past few years I have found it to be white and flakey when dray, and loose/pasty when wet. Any ideas?

I do not have any kind of medical education, but I can certainly tell you, that you should seek out your doctor as soon as possible.

Well, I agree with Marvo. If you can get to the doctor, do it, and ask him.
You shouldn't really rely on the Internet. I know DreamViews might not be a place for being misinformed, but self-diagnosis + the internet could end up as = trouble.I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
