Incentives! (Can't find something to work towards?)

Getting straight to the point, everyone should post an idea here to help people get an incentive to do something.

For me, I'm trying to get a job at Sonic to help pay for an mmorpg that I like to play. I can also use the extra cash to buy food and games.

What are some incentives you have? And can you recommend any?

My incentives include but are not limited to:
Finally move out of my father's house, pay rent, pay phone, pay utilites, get a car, pay insurance, pay for gas, buy clothes, pay for college, start investing, start my own production company so I can make and produce films and music videos.

Start saving now, Slayer. You're gonna want the money. Not saying you shouldn't treat yourself, just don't do it quite as much as you want to.

This is essentially my list. Even down the production company oddly enough. Switch college to university. The only thing I have to add on to there is I really want a new HDTV right now, and a better amp and effects pedal for my guitar. Maybe a new guitar too.

College = University where I'm from... same terminology, that it.

Hmm.. Exceed at all my classes in college. Get a job. Manage my time better... and... yeah.

My current incentive is to save up some money to upgrade my bass amp, which is pathetic at current. (How bad is it? My playing can't be heard over our drummer. Quite sad.) Hopefully after that, I'll be able to attain the following: Gigs, professional recording and distribution of our as-of-yet unfinished first album.

Next on the list would be to save up for a used car so that I don't have to constantly wear down my stepdad's old truck. If my job paid more - and if I could be assured that I'd be able to hold onto it for a while - I'd put a down payment on a new car. But in reality, I could get laid off at any time. (They're already laying off field workers, so the accountants are probably next anyway. )

My motivation... There are so many things I want to do in life.

It sounds cliche, but I've always fantasized about having a motorcycle and drifting from town to town, from city to city meeting various people on my journey to find perspective.
