Computers, the mind, and lucid dreaming

I am ,and have been since i got my first computer( about 5 years ago), very interested in the mechanics of computers. Obviously, i have become interested in Lucid dreaming as well. Recently, as well i have been learning some C++, and I have found that lucid dreaming and programming are quite similar.

Programming is about knowing how to control and knowing the process of the "thoughts" of the computer. Being lucid, if you will, of what exactly causes the cmd prompt to output the words or write the text to a file. by an ordinary user, the way the computer executes tasks is unknown, some thinking even that "it just does" or that it is a complex process only capable by a genius. In reality, however it is a matter of familiarity, for if you know the process it can be changed. This is similar of lucid dreaming and even the mind.

is binary code and the brain's way of transportation of information so different? Where the computer may use a string of 1s and 0s (ons and offs) the brain uses timed pulses, a real-time binary code of pulse(1) and no pulse(0).

I believe that the idea of control is what links LDing and programming. The idea of having ( well, almost) unlimited power even though in a single space. Both LDers and programmers feel true freedom, all it takes is familiarity with the process

      what is your opinion
