      Question Melatonin Questions

      Last night I bought 60 3mg Melatonin pills. I just have a couple questions about it.

      If I go to bed at 12:00 at night at what time should I take it?
      How long do I have to take them for REM rebound to be in effect?
      What does REM rebound do to dreaming?
      Does Melatonin increase dream vividness or recall?
      Pain Is Temporary, Pride Is Forever.

      I have been experimenting with various doses of Melatonin. I have taken 1mg and 2.5mg twice. Tonight I'm trying 5mg. Every night that I took melatonin, I had vivid memories of very strange dreams. Not frightening, but just bizarre, abstract, and random juxtaposition within normal events. I took mine before going to sleep the first time, as in literally right before I turn the lights off. Hope this helps.

      It's also probably important that I mention the supplement I'm taking has 1mg of Vitamin B-6 for every 5mg of Melatonin, and 90mg of Calcium for every 5mg of Melatonin.
