I looked at the thread originally because in the past I had used (pepper)mint tea/menthol, and I wondered if they acted in a similar way. |

Green tea relaxes me while increasing my ability to concentrate. I guess it's the combination of theanin and coffeine. The coffeine in green tea is bound to polyphenols so it's absorbtion is slowed down. Which I think is nice. |

^ Have you done a control, recorded results, or seen any adverse effects to your LD performance when you, for example, took a day off from drinking the green tea? |

Yes I indeed took a week of from drinking green tea. Involuntarily though. I was on vacation and hadn't green tea every day. I continued with my usual intent thing but the LD-Rate was much lower that week. No or one short lucid dream per night. But nothing I really recorded. Just by looking back at it, it seems to make sense. |

Thanks for you reply. |

did some of my own research regarding green tea over the last few days. if you mix lemon juice in with your green tea it can make the catechin's up to 5x more powerful. and also adding honey to this mixture can even help repair damaged DNA! but don't just take my word for it. go ahead and look it up yourselves! |
