Hi, this is my first post here, though I've been lurking around for a while.
I downloaded the brainwave generator, and I was wondering if there was something like this where I could put these sounds onto my iPod and listen to them that way?
      Thanks in advance

I am quite clueless as to what file types an Ipod accepts, but i believe its ITunes only... (correct me if i'm wrong of course), and the only read out file type the BrainWave Generator offers is of the '.avi' format. I myself have a 512mb generic MP3 player, and i've put BrainWave files onto it just fine. But if you have an IPod i'm not so sure you can unless theres a nice ITunes converter out there.

How do you get it to an .avi file? I'm sure i can find a .avi to .m4p (or whatever itunes is) convertor.
Right now, they are Brainwave Generator files, not a real file type like .avi or anything.

      Hi 490,

All you need to do is take the .wav file that BWGen creates (you must check the export settings in the preferences I think) and either convert it to .aif or mp3 using any free audio editor program (I recommend "Audacity"). You could also try to drag the .wav file onto your iTunes window, but if that doesn't work, just drag the .aif file or mp3 onto it and you'll be all set.

I have taken a 6 hour Gen .wav file and converted it to mp3, then loaded it onto my iPod where I used it as an alarm to go off in middle of the night. It is also really helpful in making you fall asleep quicker.
