So I'm at Costco today, trying to find B6 (no luck) but I spot something while I'm there that perks my ears up. This product is made by the same people that make Cold FX (Don Cherry ads) and claims to increase memory, so right away I'm thinking (like my sig says) "everything is dependent on remembering" so I'm thinking hey, maybe I'll give it a go, can't hurt right? Except maybe in the pocketbook that is... they're charging (at Costco mind you) something $43 for the stuff! Gak!!! I didn't even look to see how many doses that is or how long it's supposed to last for. Basically it's "hopped up" ginseng (read their faq) still seems awfully expensive, but I can't get it outta my head now... so, I think I'm going to "take one for the team" and bite the bullet & buy a box. Remember FX is what it's called, anyone here tried it out? I doubt it because I scoured the board before posting this & I couldn't find a thing.

      Anyone? Anyone?
      smooches,

Alrighty then, I went back to Costco today & got a bottle. There are 180 and you take 2 a day, so it's a 3 month supply. They were $38.99 +Tx (of corpse) = $44.45... way less than I would have been spending on cigarettes (I can justify just about any expenditure since quiting smoking) still pricey but if they work like they claim to I'll be happy and it'll be money well spent. Since taking my first one at noon I am feeling a little "energized" so let's just wait and see if they deliver on the promise to increase my recall skills. What was I just saying? JK.

So it's "hopped up" Ginseng? I don't think it will be hard to find Ginseng-herb + it will be much cheaper.
By "hopped up" I assume it is a ginseng Extract? You may be very able to make this yourself using some Citric acid and Acohol.

Besides; ever heard of Green tea with Ginseng? Pickwick has Green tea + Ginseng. Alot of herbal, new age and health shops might have Ginseng or ginseng tea too.

Well, here's the answer to your question:

How is REMEMBER-fX different from other ginseng products?
REMEMBER-fX is a highly purified ChemBioPrint extract derived from North American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) with chemical consistency (no less than 15% ginsenosides) as well as standardization according to biological activity. It is intended to help temporarily restore mental alertness when experiencing fatigue and has not exhibited the other immune-enhancing effects associated with the polysaccharide components of North American ginseng in laboratory studies.Although REMEMBER-fX is a natural extract of North American ginseng, its highly purified composition makes comparison with ginseng in general, inappropriate. REMEMBER-fX is also tested to ensure compliance with Canada's stringent guidelines regarding pesticide and heavy metal content, and other toxicity standards.

You can read the rest of the Q&A here.
I started taking it today, lets wait and see what's going to happing.

All I know is that when I drink a cup of Greentea+ginseng (readymade from the supermarket. Pickwick I believe) it has a subtile mentally sharpening effect. Basically an Extract only makes the same substance more potent in lower doses. So what if I were to consume 5 cups of Ginseng Tea? Or more? Eventually the effects should be no different from the Ginseng extract only you require higher doses.

Well soon I'll look for Ginseng Tea again to try drinking it in rediculous amounts right before going to sleep. Off course first I'll be taking a serious leak Maybe I can even find ground or dried ginseng herb somewhere around here.
