      What B vitamin to take?

I've heard many different people talk about B vitamins and helping with dream recall and lucidity. I am thinking about purchasing some to take whenever I feel like having a good night of dreaming. Should I just get a bottle of B6, B12, or some combination of the two? Basically, which B vitamin is best?

      Hi Cogito,

B6 is the most widely "perscribed" for dreaming. However, B5 is also there in the mix. What I recommend you do is lookup what it is about B vitamins that has to do with dreaming. Here's a link that hits on that topic and a bit more which may be helpful.

      * note there is a section where it lists a bunch of threads about B6

Careful brother, B6 can be extremely toxic if you take it on a regular basis.

I started experimenting with B6 in high doses of about 250% of the daily value. Not to mention the extra B6 i ingested from other sources.

From what i have read, B6 can cause cognitive impairment upon regular use.

I think it would be wise for everyone to understand this. But, like Jeff says, 100% natural is the way to go.

Read up on anything before you start taking doses.

To answer your question... B-6. 50 mg should do... I believe the capsules also come in 25 mg or 100 mg sizes.
