      Dmae?

Has anyone had any lucid dreams while taking DMAE. I have tried it several times with no results. My tablets are fairly high dose though, 351mg. I have tried one a day, 2 a day, once before bed and one a day for 2 days. There are various websites though that say it can produce lucid dreams, you are supposed to stay on it for 6 weeks for results though, but one paper says it can work in less than 2 weeks. I didn't stay on it because it produces side effects for me. It makes me sick at my stomach, but this may be dose related and I might need to take half the dose. But since this is a supplement that comes up a lot on lucid dream searches I was curious as to whether anyone has had tried it. It definetly does go to your brain and it makes your head feel kind of weird, it is supposed to be a precurser to aceytlcholine.

I bought a different brand of DMAE that is in capsules and has less filler or perservatives than the tablets, these do not seem to upset my stomach as much, so I am going to try to stay on them for a while and see if they help me have more lucid dreams. While I haven't had success so far I believe that DMAE will help because: it helps you focus, I find I can think about one thing without my mind wandering, there are many DMAE sites that claim it can stimulate lucid dreams as well as vivid dreams in general. It has a stimulating effect, and it is supposed to be cumulative so I don't expect success right away, but I have high hopes for DMAE, I'll keep everyone posted if it works.

If anyone else is thinking of trying this I highly recomend getting capsules instead of tablets which have as few of other ingrediants as possible, my capsules are 250 mg, You can take 1 to 3 per day. I took 1 yesterday, 1 this morning, will take one latter today, and try 2 per day, 1 in the evening 1 in the morning.

While I've had no replies on this topic, I see that a lot of people are viewing it, so perhaps some people are interested, so I'll tell my results I've had so far, after a little more than a week of DMAE I have noticed I have been having extremely vivid dreams, though most not lucid, though I have had a couple of experiences with HI while trying to wild, I did have one short lucid dream where I was imagining scenes, I didn't enter the dream but was just veiwing what I was imagining, kind of in a half awake, half asleep state. Most of my dreams have taken on an extremely detailed, real life like quality, even if some of the events are absurd. I do beleive that DMAE helps you have more vivid dreams and can help have lucid dreams, the effects are cumulative, at first DMAE made me feel weird, I felt like I had a buzz, after several days this went away, and I felt like I had more energy, colors while awake became more vibrant.

However, I have stopped taking DMAE because my blood pressure is high now, and this is a possible side effect of DMAE. Anyone who tries DMAE should be aware of this.

I had great LD's combining DMAE with Galantamind. I only used 200mg in the attempt.
