      Cool Python Reality Check Tester

If you downloaded previously, please re-download. There was an error in the files from when I made the Windows version. The major bug is fixed. Please post if there are other problems.
I've been having trouble doing reality checks. Being sort-of a programmer I made a program that flashes an image and plays a sound of your choice after a certain period of time. Just minimize or hide the window and it will flash onto your screen. This is programmed in Python with the use of pygame. I made a version for Windows. For other OS's install pygame (should be under your package manager in Linux). Enjoy! Feedback appreciated. Tested under Ubuntu and Windows XP.

      Download:
      Linux/Source Download Bug fixed.
      Windows Download Bug fixed.

      Cheers,

      Wesley Gray

I didn't use it but I looked at the source, good job. from what I know about python it's fairly to the point and well put together.

Thanks. It's cool to know there are other coders around these parts.

Yeah, I've been coding for a few years now mostly Web design and Scripting but lately I've branched out into PHP-CLI, C/C++ and later this year I'm taking a course in java.

      Cool

I downloaded it, I'll get to trying it out. From what I learned from Wikipedia and xkcd (a webcomic, A MUST READ!), python is apparently a really intuitive programming language.

I just took a pretty substantial java programming class this year. It was half my schedule! All my A-days were just javajavajava. It was a lot of fun, and I got pretty good at it.

On another note, xkcd is the webcomic where Conundrum got the image for his sig. That's just a taste of the awesomeness of xkcd.

xkcd is a really good comic, probably the best site on the internet.

I double clicked the application and is says in a message "python is not designed to work as a stand-alone software".
Click ok on the message box, and nothing.
