      know any good 1,2,3 steps to a vivid and controlable dream?

      .. like the title sais.. anybody know any good 1,2,3 steps to a dream i can actually control? yeah i know it takes time and practices... but everything has a shortcut one way or another

      There are no shortcuts.

      The only thing I would class as a shortcut would be to convince yourself that you can have a lucid dream every night, that you are a lucid dreaming master. Focus on that thought and imagine yourself controlling your dream as much as you can for a week. That will accelerate the process much faster.

      nope... dun wannt to either.. listening to mp3's at night just aint my thing... plus it hurts my ears when i sleep on my side

      Yes there is. No need to do reality checks during daytime....

      1) Get a digital watch specifically for LDing. Not your everyday watch...get a brand new one. A decent nice looking one will do....

      2) When you get the watch tell yourself this watch will tell you if your dreaming or not(numbers changing like crazy etc.)....your ticket to LDing. You don't bring this watch out with you, it's for at night when you sleep only so it stays in your bedroom.

      3) During the day if you remember, try and remind yourself that you bought a new watch to do reality checks with it and feel the excitement of the prospect. Basically be aware of it and it's purpose even when your outside..just a reminder.

      4) When it's time to sleep/LD, wear the watch and do a reality check every few minutes until you fall sleep.

      It should give you LDs the first dream if you remember it or subsequent ones.
