      Taking B-6 Tonight

At a few points I've taken 50mg and 100mg of B-6, to be honest after taking 50 mg of B-6 I had only one vivid experience, which could just be luck rather than the b-6 itself. So I decided to take a larger does, but what would be suitable, 150mg, 200mg more?

Go for around 100 to 200. I suggest 150 first. Be sure to drink plenty of water the next day, though.
      Bollocks.

Hmmm, I'll bump this thread only because I just went out and bought some B6 today. It's 200 MG. I plan on sleeping for about four hours, waking up, reading my dreamjournal/dreamviews, taking my pill, and then falling asleep. I will post my results tomorrow, in complete detail. How long I slept, how long I stayed up, one pill or two, etc etc. Wish me luck.

Alright, I tried it out last night. I took a B6 tablet that's 200 MG, and went to bed around 1:40 AM. I set my alarm for 5:40 AM. I got up, went downstairs, and took the tablet with some apple juice. I fell asleep too quickly, and woke up at noon.

I will try again tonight, except maybe I'll stay up longer so I don't fall right back asleep upong putting my head on the pillow.

When I tried taking b-6 (150 mg) the effects were unnoticable, perhaps I need to take it in the middle of the night to give the effect. I think lucid aids may work for some people, but I'm just not one of these people. Oh well back to diligent writing in my dream journal

Well, now that I think about it, B6 should be taken with Tryptophan, so that's probably why you and I felt no effects of the vitamin on our dreams/dream recall. I'm going to pick up Melatonin tonight as well.

Alright, so I tried B6 and Melatonin together last night. I had a fairly vivid dream; nothing special, but it was unusually vivid for a dream coming out of a dry spell. I think once I work on my recall, I'll have more significant results.

      400mgs here.

But I find that B6 alone doesn't help much. At least it didn't for me. I tried over a period of about 2 months, going through my 60 pill bottle. Once there was no more, I just decided to sleep without it and see how it went.
It was pretty much the same thing with or without - crappy recall.

The lack of effect the B6 had on me somehow intrigued me and I decided to research further into the matter. I quickly learned that B vitamins work best when taken with other B vitamins. I might also have read something about how in order for the Bs to have proper effect, they needed to be taken along with most of the other Bs.
There seems to be some kind of synergy or something. Anyhow, I went out and got myself a Vitamin B Complex. The first night I took the pill, I had a noticeable recall improvement - I recalled 2 distinctly different dreams that night, which for my usual 2 dreams-a-week recall, is awesome.

The next few days were also better recall-wise. I began remembering about 1 dream a night, usually in the morning, rather than at night. Then after about a week of B Complex I had my most vivid dream ever. My recall was nearly flawless and the dream was an amazing experience.

I am glad to announce that I might be changing my goals list to [2/3] Recall very soon with the help of my good friend, Vitamin B Complex.

      NOTES:
The amount of B vitamins in the complex is higher than the normal daily dose. Luckily, Bs are water soluble, meaning all overdose will be evacuated from your system, dissolved in water. For this reason, your urine will be remarkably more yellow (kinda mix between green and yellow highlighter ). Thats normal, so don't be alarmed when the morning after a B complex, you're pissing fluorescent.

Also, please understand that the effect might be placebo and that my improvement in recall was simply a coincidence with me trying B complex.

For a complete list of the vitamins and amounts in the complex I got, just ask away, I'll copy it down. I just remember noticing that there are 50mgs B6 per pill.

      Hope this was helpful.

      Good night
