Subtle alarms to assist in WILD

Yesterday night I was falling asleep and SP was setting o pretty quick.
My body was really tranquil and numbed and my mind was slowly being "enchanted" as I was getting closer and closer to sleep.

So I was in this significant deep trance and my awareness was slowly decreasing gradually as I neared sleep. Then suddenly my cellphone, lying next to my head, made a rather loud, but short beep noise. This indicates the battery is fully loaded.

I noticed how this Short, loud beep made my awareness rise incredibly and I became fully aware again just to witness extremely strong Hypnagigic Imagery. I remained calm and aware through a long time of that process.

Then eventually I fell asleep unconsciously.

However this rise in awareness due to the beep made me think:
What if such a Beep, or similair loud, short noise, is sounded every 3 minutes for about an hour (the time you take to fall asleep usually) then it might just be the perfect WILD aid.

I think I will make an ambient music track in Reason 4 and add such loud, short noises every 3 minutes and play it while I fall asleep.

This is actually very similar to a technique called rhythm napping, if u don't know what that is, it's on the saltcube website. However rhythm napping is a more refined way of doing this, it uses specific intervals based on the way you sleep, which u have to experiment with.

I created a few audio tracks by finding my intervals, and putting them behind a homemade ambient track which lasts an hour long. I have had success with using it. Again, look up Rhythm Napping.

      I checked out Rythm Napping.

However in Rythm Napping you only sleep short periods and wake yourself up with short intervals.

The Subtle alarm I meant is not supposed to wake you up, but instead grap your attention and raise your awareness.

You know when you're half-sleeping in the morning and the doorbell rings, but you know you won't have to get up 'cause someone else will open the door? The doorbell awakens your mind, yet doesn't awaken your body. Like my cellphone beeping to let me know the battery was fully loaded. It alarted me, but didn't wake me up of interfere with the HI that was unfolding into dreams. I was alerted and made awake/aware in the midst of the forming of a dream.

So we need a sound that is alarming enough to catch your attention and raise your awareness, but not too alarming so it won't startle you awake completely.

Perhaps such a sound could be played every 10 minutes or so in an ambient entrancing MP3 that's on repeat all night as you sleep.
I've allready made perfect dream-MP3s, so I'll see if I can create the perfect subtly alarming noise to mix into it.
