      Only a few so far.

I've only had a few lucid dreams. I am trying to improve my skill at LD, but the problem isn't with the dreaming itself. Its just starting the LD. Once I'm lucid dreaming I have no problems what so ever. The first time I lucid dreamed, I warped reality (basically, I made myself a Dragon and spent the rest of the night flying). And the second time, and the third time. My problem isn't in dreaming, or in lucidly dreaming, its making the transition. Lately I've been getting better (dreams tend to shift my way) but I was wondering if anyone has any sleeping tips for cueing a Lucid dream?

      Welcome, Drac?

Have you checked out the Tutorials section? There's lots of good info there. Do you currently use any of these methods?

Actually yes. I've been working on a dream journal/remebering my dreams. However, the "use a switch" such as a watch or something just doesn't seem to work for me. ITs almost like I just need to train my mind to take over. I try thinking about doing it before I go to sleep and it helps a little, bit I'm wondering if there are other ways to initialize Lucidity while asleep.

I assume you're referring to doing reality checks. Those don't work for me, either. I would recommend that you try the WBTB method -- it works for me, and based on what I've seen I think it works for more people than any other single method does.

Someone else with the same problem I have! lol I have a hard time recognizing that I'm dreaming, so very hard, but once I'm in a lucid dream, it's as if the world is at my command. Although the first few times I actually went lucid, I spent so much time flying around, trying to decide WHAT to do next lol It was as if my mind was over come with the endless possibilities. These days, I have a list of things I want to do.
