      LD Notes

Below are some events / experiances I have encountered while Lucid Dreaming. Rather then listing each event as it had happened. I have created diferent areas of intrest for those that may be curious about my dreams

      Terrain :
One thing I really enjoy doing while in a Lucid Dream, is to sit back and admire the landscape. The clouds in all my dreams have always been in " High speed " so to say. Rolling and expanding, changing shape and color. As far as weather, I dont think my dreams have ever had " wind " in them. Always seems calm. Infact I dont think it has ever rained, has been times of over cast but thats about it. At times weather has been destructive in my dreams, although Im usually walking around in the aftermath.

      Fear's:

Water, now thats a tricky topic. I " hate / fear " deep water in my dreams. But in real life I dont mind it at all. Its strange how someone can have a fear of something while sleeping but not actually have that fear "While awake"

Since im on the water topic, anyone ever tried to breath underwater. For me its quite the experience. The density of the water going in my lungs and out, is what Id expect it to feel like. Not as easy as the thin air we breath from day to day. The chill of the water and feeling it from the inside out. This has happened on several occasions.

      Flying:

Ok this one stumps me. Every time Im having a Lucid dream and I want to fly, I can only get so high. Some times I struggle to get just above the tree tops. While others Ill make it to the clouds. I really really really would like to make it above the earth. Only ONCE have I ever been that high. It was on a flat checkered platform that was rather difficult to balance on.

      Super Powers:

There have been times when Ive been able to summon a green aura around my hands and create floating balls of green energy through concentration. Its sooo disappointing to do this in a dream then wake up, and attempt only to realize its not possible. Ive done this demonstration in front of friends and family while dreaming, there reactions are always so funny. Some think " they " are dreaming, while others want to know " the secret " Ive also had the ability to walk through walls and the ability to fly, which Ive stated above.

      Aliens / UFOs:

In recent dreams, Ive actually had alot of contact with Aliens / UFO's. In my most recent there was actually a UFO in the sky putting on a laser / firework show for my town. It was as if they were our friends and we had known about them. No one was freaked out' it was accepted that hey existed.

      Back in time :

Ive had multiple dreams of an ancient life surrounded by temples and statues of gods. Ceremonies, and chants in a language I can not understand. I mostly try to avoid the people in these dreams, most of the time they know Im not supposed to be there. ( I feel very unwelcome )

Ill add more to this when I have time, right now Im at work ~

Hey and welcome to the forum. I just wanted to comment on a few of your experiences as they are similar to mine. As far as breathing underwater, you are right it is very neat feeling the water flow in and out of your lungs...for me it was dense and warm instead of cold though.

As far as flying is concerned, I have also had many experiences with flying. Usually I just fly everywhere and anywhere. I've never tried to really go above the clouds though. But my only advice for you, next time you are having trouble flying...or you just can't get it right...try growing some wings. I have done this in a few of my lucids where I had trouble flying and once I had wings I could soar like an eagle. At first you take off, flapping like a bird, but once you are in the air you can soar to wherever you want. And you HAVE TO TRY flying upsidedown (and I mean, like horizontally upsidedown with your head back, like when you swing on a swing and lean back really far as you come down)...it's amazing, such a rush!!...and seeing the dreamscape fly past you like that is incredible.

I always seem to do the same thing. When I am in a forest I always have to sit back and take the energy of it's perfection in. I just look seeing different landscapes. They make me feel good inside.

For some reason I realized something just a while ago. I have control over the weather in my dreams. I can choose if it rains or not. I still cannot actaully create solid objects though. I am working on improving.

Thank you for your interesting post.

This is something I've only experienced briefly once, where I was in ancient Greece, following a crowd into a temple. I'm fascinated by ancient cultures, and am presently reading about ancient Egypt. I'd love to have a lucid dream involving ancient Egypt, the pyramids, etc.
