I have been trying to LD on and off for about a year. I had completely stopped trying for about a month because I was to busy with school, work , etc. So last night when I had 2-3 dreams when I was completely aware and was able to change things, I was quite happily suprised.
The weirdest part was that I didnt even think to do an RC until the 3rd LD of the night. I was just kind of immediately aware. I was walking around with my friends, and I just became lucid. I was suprised that I dididnt have to try spinning or anything to keep it there. I walked around with my friend for a while, and whenever I entered a building it was a change of scenery that I had chosen.
At one point I tried to wake myself up to see if it was really a dream, so I repeated to myself "Wake up in real life" and closed my dream eyes. I woke up in real life. At this point I was very excited, but fell asleep almost immediately.
In the next dream, I was in the same place, with the same friend doing the same things. I lost lucidity for a while...
The 3rd and final dream was when I finally tried to do an RC. I did the finger-thru-the-hand and it worked, then just to make sure, I closed my nose and breathed through it. It worked wonderfully, and I walked around for another 5 or 10 minutes until I woke up naturally one minute before my alarm clock went off.
So with all of that ^ you're probably wondering why Im questioning whether I was lucid. It just didnt feel as great as I expected. It was cool to be able to change the scenery, but it just wasnt as vivid, and I feel like it was in black and white. Maybe I just had low-lucidity... either way, I felt like I needed to post my exciting experience and get some opinions on it!
sorry about the long post
