MY FIRST LD!!!! I AM ALL THAT IS MAN!!!!

Yep ... I had my first LD last night. It's weird though because I had given up on the whole LD thing for about 4 days. I also drank 1/2 a mickey before bed. At one point when I woke up, I got a drink of water and then thought about doing WILD. I tried it for about 5 secs and then just focused on my breathing. I fell asleep very quickly and then had the following radtacular dream. ENJJOOOOYYYY. I had a dream where I was driving through a battletorn land in a Jeep, looking for cool weapons amongst the wreckage. At one point I was standing by the side of a long,icy, winding road with Lutch. It was night time and the ground was illuminated by some scattered lampposts. At one point I was sorting through my wallet, looking at all the cards. I saw a card that stated that I had an appointment for something, possibly at 8:30. I realized that no such arrangment existed and I immediatley became Lucid. As I regained mental clarity, Kevin's eyes grew very wide as he too went lucid. I started running around, getting extremely excited. I told myself not to get too stirred up as it would cause the dream to cease. I looked at my hands while running and rubbed them together while shouting "INCREASE CLARITY" and "MORE LUCIDTIY". When I looked at my surroundings again, I was in a large, strangley shaped building. Most of it was made of a beige concrete / marble material. THe inside looked quite fancy and there were several office rooms. I saw this hot secretary walking down a hallway. I stopped her and convinced her to have some wicked dreamsex. After this was done, I saw Lutch again and we decided to try flying. We were just outside the building, facing a large open field. The sky was pretty gloomy looking as if it was going to rain soon. I ran for a few steps and jumped into the air. As I slowly floated up, I straightend out my hands (super man style) and thought about me being a straight burst of energy. I immediatly took off and a decent speed in a straight line. Lutch and I did this for a bit and it was exhilarating. At one point I saw a singe wall blocking my path. I tried to "gather my chi" and make an aura around myself. This did not work unfortunately. Nevertheless, I attempted to plow through the wall, but failed. I decide that I would fly straight up from the Earth, into space. I began flying upwards and noticed the Earth getting smaller and smaller.The clouds became thicker and thicker until they suddenly dissapeared and I was in space. I was surprised that I was actually feeling a deep coldness. At this point I either flew into some sort of "Space Chalet" or I had warped there... I can't exactly recall. I began talking to some girl, about 22 years of age. I was raving on about how this was my first Lucid Dream and she seemed very happy for me and congradulated me. She asked me if I had flew yet and I nodded. I proceeded to explain that since this was my first LD I would only try fun stuff and not attempt to go on a spiritual journey. I asked her if dream sharing was real and she replied that it was. I suddenly became shocked that possibly I was in HER dream as well. She also said something quite odd. "The fun is how they get you though ... to believe .... watch out or the dream 'witches' " (???) I went over to a bench and sat down with Lutch. When I noticed that a large pink towel was laying on the ground in front of me, a group of about four Lebanese guys (little Moe was one of them) walked over. They yelled at us intensley for not picking up the towel. With out hesitation, I smoothly bent over, picked up the towel, and placed it upon a golden hook on the wall. It seemed that they were pleased and they walked out onto a balcony. I developed a fantastic idea and played it out by walking over to the monstrous / buff guy and punching him in the face. Suddenly I was pitted against four guys in a fistfight. I managed to block most of the shots and even knocked Moe off the railing. It scared me a little though because sometimes when the huge guy got a shot in on me, I felt a little pain. When I decided that I didn't want to be at the Chalet anymore, I appeared once again in the gloomy open field. The only difference now was that I was surrounded by a couple of large warehouses. There were stacks of large metal containers resting against the walls. I started doing wall runs and backflips Ninja-Gaiden style off these containers. It took a while to do smooth backflips though because whenever I would be upside down, I would start to descend faster. When I belived in my ability to do them, my form got better. After doing this for a while, I decided that I wanted to run extremely fast a jump over buildings (this had been suggested in a thread here). I was dissapointed however, by the fact that I did not have enough weight keeping me down to run quickly. I would just take giant moon strides. When I gave up on this, I decided to just do humongous jumps over gaps. (from one stack of containers to another). I realized that the vision was getting fuzzy and I knew I would wake up soon. I woke up as soon as I intended to. In retrospect, the whole experience seemed to last quite a long time. It lasted longer than I expected, espescially since I was only in my 4th REM period.

Wonderful! Considering this was your first LD you had an incredible experience! .. you had great recall and it lasted a good amount of time (at least it reads like it did). Congratulations.. you ARE the man!! May you have many many more!!

hot damn....nice dream man...i hope my first intentional lucid dream is at least half as kick ass as that....sounds like you had an imense amount of control and clarity,even remembered things from teh forums on your first try!Big time props!

Thanks duuudes ... sorry about the weird spacing in the text ... I had to copy it from notepad (and word isn't working because Microsoft is the devil) My only problem was that I think I had moments where I momentarily lost control. I would also warp to places (ex. To the Chalet and back down to Earth) I failed to remember + do some other things I wanted to do such as: fly through a metropolis, websling through a metropolis, walk through walls, become Godzilla Ohhhhh well .... only approximately 3 weeks until my next LD

Man that was one hell of a Lucid dream and it seemes to last a great deal of time. Congrats, secretary and all. Kudas on the DC conversation as well.

Thanks ... I'm just sad that it was so spontaneous and seemingly had nothing to do with any of my waking efforts to induce an LD ahaha.
