      My bizzare deam walking experience

I'll post a copy of the email, rather that re explain every thing

What follows is a reply I got from a friend of mine, so yeah. What I wrote has > in front of each line, and my friend added comments.

This is going to be a fun one ^^ Now to see how accurate your dream was!

      > Julia,
      >
      > I thought I may as well write a couple of letters. I'm bored, so
      > yeah. I had a strange dream about you a couple of nights ago. Well,
      > more accurately, it had a dream about you in the morning, because I
      > woke up during it at 10:30 am. Anyway, I dreampt that my parents had
      > just gotten home with some pizzas, and I decided to go for a walk
      > while the food baked. So, I wandered along the street, until I came
      > across your house. (odd, since I have no idea where you live, and I'm
      > pretty sure that you don't live near me).

That's true ^^ I live in Fort Collins, CO XD

      > I walked through the front
      > door, which was open, and into the living room.

For the record, the point of reference is the living room

      > The dining room and
      > kitchen were on my right hand side, and there were a bunch of people
      > there.

In my house, if you were in the living room, the dining room and the kitchen
WOULD both be to your right!

      > Your Dad, Mom, and a couple of guys were standing in the
      > kitchen area talking. There might have been more people in there, I'm
      > just guessing. I walked up a stair case to your room, and halfway up,
      > I came across a young blond girl sitting on the stairs.

The way you described my stairs in my house is accurate as well!

      > She said \"are
      > you Samantha?\" and I said \"No, I'm just a friend of hers\". She gave me
      > a hug, and I continued up the stairs. I finally got to your room, and
      > it was huge. It was like a loft, the wall on the left hand side was
      > shorter because of the slope of the roof.

My room is sloped because it's near the front of the house and the roof
slopes down. My room is pretty big ^^

      > Your bed was on the right
      > near the door, and you had a desk on the left.

From your directions that were given, this would actually be accurate! My
bed is right near the door with my desk on the opposite side.

      > The room was more long
      > than wide, which is what made it huge.

      Also true.

      > You were sitting on the floor
      > in front of your desk, and I crawled over to you and gave you a huge
      > hug.

This is what scared me. I actually DO that a lot when I just want to think
at night. That is really freaky.

      >You looked like a guy, but you were still pretty somehow, if that
      > makes any sense.

It does. I actually look sort of girly, to be honest. I've been called a
bishi by several good friends. I'm a favourite at the anime cons

      > We both kinda cried a little, and talked about all
      > kinds of stuff for a long time. I didn't want to leave, but I realized
      > it was nearly 10 pm, so I left in a hurry. When I got back home, I
      > looked at the clock and saw it was nearly 11, and my parents weren't
      > around. I also noticed that the pizzas were on a rack on the counter,
      > not cooked yet. I was kind of tired, so I went to bed. I lay there
      > kind dazed but not asleep for an hour or so, and then got up again. I
      > looked out the window, and realized that my parents had been looking
      > for me, since I was at your house for so long. My Dad saw me through
      > the window, and ran towards the door, looking like we wanted to hit
      > me. I freaked out, and woke up.

O.o;; That's not a fun ending to your dream!

      > Yeah, that was a weird dream, alright. It was one of those odd ones
      > where you're dropped into a situation and somehow know what's going
      > on, you ever had a dream like that? Even though I have no idea what
      > you, your family, or your house look like, I knew what was going on
      > anyway. It was a nice dream though, except for the ending. Heh, i hope
      > I haven't freaked you out.

Yes, all my dreams are like that XD That's why my dreams are rarely lucid
      [/b]

I'm not one to readily except the idea of psychic abilities (in the paranormal sense), but I believe there can be an explanation to this coincidence.

We all possess a certain level of deductive reasoning skills; which is both learned and innate. I believe that the mind (the subconcious particularly) is capable of high levels of deductive reasoning...even higher than we are conciously aware.

Since you have corresponded with this person over a two year period, I believe that your mind has picked up on certain clues (in her dialouge) to deductively formulate a perceived visual of her environment. I know that that might sound like a stretch, but the mind is a very powerful device and I am more willing to accept it's ability to deductive reasoning than it's ability towards psychic ability.

Oh and here is something humorous along this topic:

Man approaches to greet a new neighbor who is just moving into the house next door and asks what he does for a living.

Neighbor 1: I am a professor at the University, I teach deductive reasoning.

Man: Deductive reasoning? What is that?

Neighbor 1: Let me give you an example. I see you have a dog house out back. By that I deduce that you have a dog.

      Man: That's right.

Neighbor 1: The fact that you have a dog, leads me to deduce that you have a family.

      Man: Right again.

Neighbor 1: Since you have a family I deduce that you have a wife.

      Man: Correct.

Neighbor 1: And since you have a wife, I can deduce that you are heterosexual.

      Man: Yup.

Neighbor 1: That is deductive reasoning.

      Man: Cool.

      .....Later that same day...

Man: Hey I was talking to that new neighbor next door.

Neighbor 2: Is he a nice guy?

Man: Yes, and he has an interesting job.

Neighbor 2: Oh, yeah? What does he do?

Man: He is a professor of deductive reasoning at the University.

Neighbor 2: Deductive reasoning? What's that?

Man: Let me give you an example. Do you have a dog house?

      Neighbor 2: No.

      Man: Faggot. [/b]

The only insight you can get is from your own insight, from reading your post and In the Moments reply, i have to agree with what he has to say about this. I thought it was a highly intelligent response to your question.

Deductive reasoning is a powerful tool (eps if you like the girl).

If you want insight, ask the girl out on a date, it sounds like you two have a subconcious connection.

(In the Moment- Love that deductive reasoning message, really funny stuff).
