Occupying someones's body in LD: my experiences

The problem is that I do not like my appearance. So I often started to think - it would be nice to try being someone else. This idea got into my dreams. And now I can do it in LD. But the feelings are somewhat shameful, like if I have stolen something. Does anybody have the same?
Technics is easy: in a LD I imagine how I should look like. Then I see this person in front of me. And then I fly into his body. Everything seems so real that I can construct a mirror in front of me and see how do I look like! But it does not last for long, I loose lucidity and become myself (or only my ego without a body) again.
Anyway it seems that such LDs are not good in my case. Instead of that I should get used to my real body and like it more. Such dreams only make things worse.

Try morphing into something rather than occupying somebody else's body. It should be easier

      Hello

Well Tsen just copy's things so don't really listen to him. He doesn't even dream. And when he does it's about popcorn. And I just don't trust a kid who dreams about popcorn.

And I don't like the way he treats girismyleader either

EDIT: The_Persuader and girismyleader seem to share the same IP address. Please stay on topic and be nice, OK? -Seeker

I'm sorry Tsen... Well I'm going to be serious. I won't copy from another source either..... Obviously this person is having some Idenity crises. Either they don't know who they are. Or how they should act. But they need to work out thier personal life first before trying anything drastic. AND TSEN it's not the complexsity of the object. but the quality. Is the person that you are occupying something you would rather become. If so then it's not who you should be. Because your subconscience is overpowering your needs and therefore breaking up your ideal person. Dreams always want to take control heck that's why you have dreams so you can findout your subconscinece needs rather than your wants. Work on yourself before you work on your LDs.

      ThereTSEN are you happy.

sirams, I've been trying to do that for quite a while now without success. Congrats on being able to do it for even a little while.

I've attempted it by trying to walk into someone, similar to the way you walk through a wall, but for some reason it has not worked for me. I've also tried to morph, like Tsen said, with very limited success.

Next chance I get, I'll try your method of flying into someone. Maybe that will work for me.

On a side note, don't worry too much about your looks. I know you are probably tired of hearing people say, "It's what's on the inside that counts", but that is the truth. Take it from another guy that is thrilled with his looks either

I am able to morph but usually the end result is horrific. All out of proportion. Sometime one eye is way lower than the other and stuff.

Ditto that. You can mess around with your appearance all you want in the dreaming, but peace can only be found within.

I think I just quoted Lucius...

Yea, who cares how you look? It only really matters for first impressions but you can make that up by dressing nice. After that people get to know you and don't care. Most people have their faults.

As for dreams, do whatever you want. I have tried that before too. I just did it for fun though. Jumping into a people does seem to work better than trying to morphing too.

I would think first it would be more important to learn how to stay lucid and increase clarity then dwell on whatever you want to control.
