Beauty and the Beast.

This is a little old, I couldent find it for a while but just did YAY! I woke up lying on the ground, the grass was soft and comfortable, the weather was perfect, it was night but the starlit sky provided plenty of light for me to see, and laying in the grass next to my face was the most exquisitely beautiful creature I had ever seen, she must have been a dryad or a forest sprite. She was tiny, only a few inches tall, and had beautifully intricate wings almost like a cross between a dragonfly and a butterfly. Looking at her made me wish I was her size. But I wasn’t so I just lay there, I couldn’t take my eyes off her, she snuggled up closer to my face and brushed my face with one of her tiny hands... The peace and beauty of the moment was shattered at this point by a small white portable radio, it must have had an alarm set or something, I fumbled with it trying to turn it off but I could not find the off switch I turned down the volume as much as I could but It was still very loud to me. I looked back down and the little Nymph was gone, it must have scared her off... That sucked I scanned the yard for her but did not see her anymore, I felt a great loss at her leaving. I laid back down hoping she would come back but someone opened a door from the inside of a house that was about 100 feet away. Now that I think of it, the place I was in was like my front yard back on LI but allot longer and with much more lush vegetation and the lake was actually an ocean. The woman stepped out of the house and she looked at me and in a flat voice said "Are you going to come and help us or what?" As I sat upright I noticed I was naked, I was only a little embarrassed, but I asked her, "would you please close the door first?" Like it really mattered, me being outside and all. I got my clothes on but I don’t recall doing it and then I wandered around the yard, there were these small flowers all over the place, they were an incredibly deep blue that radiated their own light they were a stalk with the top bent back down in an upside down J shape, the curved part at the top was the blue color. There were other flowers around too they were small clusters of tiny flowers on a stalk, I picked one and touched the cluster of flowers, they were springy I turned it upside down and dropped it on the ground and it bounced right back up to my hand, it was really cool, I bounced it around for a while walking around the yard admiring the beauty of the place. I dropped the bouncy flower and just let it bounce as I walked towards the ocean the lush vegetation abruptly stopped and a beach began, I walked along a little further and there was a group of people playing Co-ed football one of them called out "Seri! Catch it!" Someone had accidentally thrown the ball towards the water, and it was going out over the water. I was between the people and forest area the ball was on the other side of them. I ran but realized I wasn’t going to make it. So I flew, I leapt up into the air and caught the ball, it almost hit the water, I flew up a little and chucked the ball back to them and they all waved. "Well since flying worked I must be dreaming", I thought. I flew out over the water and away, I don’t know how far I flew but it was daytime, and I was following a road. I saw a large group of people on the road, like a caravan or something, they were milling about having breakfast, I realized I was hungry and thought mayhap I could get a bite to eat. I landed a ways away so they wouldn’t see me flying and walked over to them. The people were very friendly and greeted me happily. I saw one group at a picnic table and on one side was a cloth booth, people were going in and then coming out with a big smile on their face, I was curious so I walked over, A little girl came from the other side of the booth and said to the next person, I will show you what you look like but it is only for you and no others can see, the little girl looked like she was only 7 or so but she sounded much older and wiser. She looked at me with a confused look on her face, "What are you doing here?" I replied “Simply passing through, I was hoping to perhaps get some breakfast". She looked at me again and it was like she looked in me. "You’re the dragon king aren’t you?" The people around her and gasped quietly and started staring at me. I had no clue what she was talking about though, "who? What do you mean?" She again said "You’re the dragon king" I replied this time "No, you must have me confused with some one, my name is Serinanth". She then said "no I know you are him, you didn’t frown when denying it this time." I was confused still, she said more than what I will write down I cannot remember it all but it was something like "here take this", she handed me a large fluffy feather, it felt strange in my grasp, and I didn’t like it. She went on "I am sorry but it is for the best of all of us" Then I knew it was some kind of magical locater, and when she gave it to me, something dark knew where I was instantly. I became very frightened at just the thought. Dropped the feather and ran, down the road away from the people but I could already feel it coming, the ground began to shake and rumble and then I saw it, a huge wall of water heading for me, it engulfed the people... they barely had any time to be frightened before it crashed over them, I ran very fast, but I was getting tired, I found a sports car on the road and took off I drive for a while and came to junkyard looking place or an old warehouse the sky was dark with rain now, and the wall of water right behind me, I crashed through the wall of a building and water poured in after me, the car started to sink and I saw a truck sinking in the water too, someone was with me at this point a friend, I don’t know who. or how I started flipping out as we sunk deeper, the friend said hey don’t worry just stomp the gas this car is powerful enough to get us to the surface of the water.. I was like Huh? But I did it anyway and sure enough the car started heading for the surface, we got to the top of the water and I saw two trucks we had to get on top of them somehow if we were going to reach the outside. It was like the inside of the building was a bottomless pit filled with water and all we had to do was climb up to get out, the two trucks were big box trucks they were floating I guess because of all the air in the box portions. One said 1 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton on the sides of the box. I have no clue what it signified. I was very scared, and didn’t know what to do. A man appeared wearing black business attire, not a suit per say but business dressed, he was evil that’s all I knew very evil and dark and he scared the shit out of me... he was standing in a square alcove in the concrete wall it looked like it was a loading bay of some sort. He said "would you just come with me; it will make things so much easier, besides you are the dark ones and will always be so". I thought to hell with that I wanted to get the hell out of their but his eyes caught mine and I felt compelled to do what he said, I got out of the car and floated to the loading bay, I got inside and went unconscious, I think I slipped back into this place for a moment, wondering what was going on but I slipped back and found myself tied to a chair. He was standing there saying "did you think you could get away from him that easy?" My head hurt and I was scared shittless I didn’t know what to do, We were inside the box of a big truck and he was closing the door, the thought of being enclosed in there with him flipped me out and I blasted the doors open with a thought, he scowled at me and grabbed some large pieces of wood and began to fix the door. I heard a voice in my head or in my ear, I don’t know which, it thought it was some kind of com device. "Hey don’t worry just sit still, there’s a camera in here, I looked up and indeed saw the camera under a black glass dome, somehow I got into it and was able to see from it, like I hacked into it somehow, I saw myself sitting in the chair my hands bound behind me and in front of me was the man fixing the door with his back to me. I saw a pair of hands emerge from the edge of the cameras view and they cut the bindings on my hands "not yet” came the voice in my head My vision returned to my own eyes and there was a twang and a whistle of air as a big arrow shot past me and into the mans back he arched in pain and then came another arrow, I looked behind me and I saw the friend that was in the car with me hiding behind some large ropes, I thought I cant leave him here that thing will kill him, he gave me the traditional two fingered peace sign and I heard his voice in my head again "NOW!" I jumped out of the chair and rocketed through the still weak doors, I shot up into the sky as fast as I could fleeing on pure adrenaline and fear, I heard the man thing scream... god it was such a horrible sound, a high pitched keening that is still ringing in my ears, it was the sound of annoyance and anger. I flew on and on up and away as far as I could go until all I could see was just the blue sky around me. I could still hear the scream...I though in defiance. Evil screams like a little girl. And I shuddered myself awake... I could still hear it... My ears hurt my head hurt my head still hurts and its 3 hours later... That scream was worse than the time a banshee screamed in my face...

Very cool. You have really cool, but really scary dreams a lot. I wish I could do that. Whoever this evil dude is, he wants your ass BAD and i'd advise not handing it to him. You've been face-to-face with a banshee?

That sounds so awesome! It sounds to me like you need to go to town on Evils ass. Y'know rip out his vocal chords or something so he can't scream anymore. Hand him HIS ass on a platter with all the trimmings. After more wishful thinking, Sounds like a cool dream, i envy you. I dont seem to be able have frightening dreams... and i like that stuff...

Yeah, it was victorian times, there was alot beforehand, but at one point I saw somone at the door, it was a big glass door and all I saw was a short dark figure. I opened it and the thing that stood before me was absolutely hideous. it stood about 3 foot tall it was all black well shades of it. Its skin was like black paper over bones, it s shroud seemed like it was almost its skin too I couldnt see its feet it stretched out a hand like I said it was like black paper over bones. Its face though... Its burned in my memory, the thing itself was too black like it sucked the light away. Well its face was long, it had a muzzle, it almost reminded me of the geigers alien "Aliens" but it had eyes, the eyes were black balls about the size of golf balls, and they bugged out of its head, its mouth was full of black needle like teeth. It opened its mouth and the sound that came out... It felt like I was being torn inside out my ears jsut cut off after a point due to sensory overload (wasnt long) but the soul can hear that scream, it felt like I was being liquefied. I woke up and could still hear it, my ears buzzed and I had a headache for a few minutes. I am so glad I took off as fast as I did from that thing in the suit I couldent even see it anymore and its scream still shook me to my bones.

Seriously... I want nothing to do with that thing in the suit. It scares the bejezus out of me and I am lucky I got away.

That's intresting how a dream will sometimes wake you up and something that happened in the dream will carry on to the real world. I've been shot in the arm in a dream and I will wake up and I will feel the most horrible pain in my arm.

Seri, first of all, that was really cool! =) Secondly, all the transitions reminded me of alot of my dreams, which is also cool. but yeah, that evil dude, not cool.
