My very first and very odd lucid!

Anyways I checked this site out cus my friend told me about it. I read on tips how to lucid dream and I thought this was extremely stupid I was horribly trolling WRONG! At first when i was going to sleep I thought this would either give me a trolling nightmare or just nothing will happen cus I thought nothing would go well on my first try. There I slept in my cozy bed. THE DREAM: I dreamed I was in a classroom with my friend he was telling me to do something about a math homework. I still didn't know it was a dream I thought it was real life! I was back asleep then suddenly I was in an ocean with a little island i can see in the distance with a small coconut tree on it. I wasn't sure where I was but I looked at my feet and saw myself walking on water! I was like whats happening!?! I suddenly heard loud sounds of waves approaching me and getting closer. The skies suddenly turned darker and I saw a huge gigantic tidal wave approaching me I was scared and panicking. I then remembered how to know if you're dreaming, this was most probably the most obvious dream ever. I remembered that I could control dreams if i knew it was a dream. I felt that I saw myself sleeping in my bed in real life like I was awake and thinking things that I can see with my own eyes it was AMAYZING! Then I remembered something I read about having powers in your dream. I let loose a shout and held my hand against the tsunami and the water just broke up like the Red Sea! I then wanted to get out of this weird oceanic place so I whirled myself and thought of another place. Since I wasn't master of lucid dreaming i went to a random place probably stored in my head. It was a weird orange building then I saw a slight glance of some of the presidents of random countries the most noted I saw was Obama saying a speech about something. I thought to myself I must have saw it in the news or something like that. Then I woke up I was so mad that I woke up i was starting to understand more things! Hi there my friend, Welcome to DV. Congratulations on your very first LD . Lucid Dreams can truly be weird yet amazing. Your first LD seems to be a teaser. When I had my first LD, I was only in my room then I suddenly woke up. I suggest you read the Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial to prolong your Dream experience and make out the most of it. Hope this helps

How do you do this so easily?! It took me 3 months to finally get a lucid. Anyway, welcome to DV and congrats on your first lucid. The link weakamon gave you is a very good tutorial and I would strongly recommend checking it out so you can prolong your experiences. Cheers!
