Strange experiences

I haven't been on for so long, and the rason i've come on is because i'm having a few problems. It has nothing whatsoever to do with having a dry spell. It's a huge problem with my normal way of LDing, the living of a separate life had posed some real obstacles and strange things in real life, and the LDs. The first problem that got me, i was watching YYH with my best friend, like we almost always do these days when he comes over, and we were in the middle of the dark tournament saga, andthis was a week ago at around eleven at night after a hockey game. I had been eating my dinner, which i had just gotten, and the smoke entered the ring. I had watched this episode before, so i knew what was coming. For the first time according to the series, in 15 years, Yoko Kurama would make an appearance. But when the face appeared on the screen my heart felt like it stopped beating and it seemed like i was frozen. I had remembered something i had forgotten, from my other 'life' in my LDs. My friend was just watching the screen for almost five minutes before he noticed i must have seemed frozen from fear of something. The recall had made me stop what i was doing, and re live the experience. As soon as i snapped out of it, i ran out of the room. I don't feel like giving specifics on this, but i did not like this one. I ended up explaining it to my friend and he said, if i knew i was dreaming, why did it freak me out so much? Then he remembered how i use it as another life, and he got it. Now, two days ago i had a dream like always. I was at the school i go to there, when one of the teachers started to bug me because i was ignoring him. I was. I have better things to do in a lucid dream than stay in school. Seeing as that night, i was viewing it as only a dream, so i would stop freaking out in the real world. So i told him that i could wear whatever uniform i wanted, and anyone could do his job. He was only a music teacher after all. So he said i couldn'ty do it, and i said i could. So i taught the class. The subject was original songs, so i actually wrote a song in my LD. Of course, once i woke up, i wrote down the song. It wasn't actually that bad at all. I wrote a song in my LD, you have to admit that's neat. Oh yeah, then what happened was, i knew someone was near the door, so i oppened the door to the room. Hiei was there. So, i wanted to make this teacher really mad, so i pretended to look over at his desk, and i saw that Hiei was supposed to be there, so i introduced him. Then i threw the instruments out the window. You wouldn't believe how fun it is to throw instruments out of a window! But that's really off topic... you know, if anyone wants to hear this just tell me. If no one wants to, i'm not writing anymore. I kow i can't stand reading these long posts all in a row like how i'm writing this.

So you are saying that you don't like the idea that you consider your lucid dreams a second life? I admit that sometimes it can feel like a different world, but ultimately I'm about 90% sure that we create every aspect of dreams. That includes the story, the people, and the misfortunes that befall us.

I'm not clear on what the problem is. Why did you freak out because of YYH? Did you think your second life was real and therefore got reminded of something and freaked out about it? One thing I love about lucid dreaming is knowing that as real as everything looks, I know that none of it is real. That is why I can look at freaky stuff and laugh at it.

I don't think you should be using it as a second life.
