I downloaded this EILD track ("Lucid Remix" from the Audio Aids thread) and put it on my iPod last night. |

I had it playing all night. I use ambient music to block outside noise to help me fall asleep. I naturally wake up several times a night so my first "wake up" doesn't typically have a dream attached to it, because I don't sleep long enough to enter REM. I hear for WILD you're supposed to sleep for a large chunk of time and then try WILDing, but I don't sleep for longer than 3.5 hour intervals (and if I do, I get groggy). |

I see, I have yet to try music playing all night, any recommendations? |

Umm... If you just want music to help you sleep, I'd recommend something with a nature-esque background (rainfall, forest, ocean, etc.) that doesn't have any sudden changes (in loudness, tempo, pitch). If you want something to help with lucidity, then you can get the track I'm now using (Lucid Remix) from the Audio Aids stick. Although the 1-hour track (Subliminal Lucid 2.0, I think) from the Audio Aids section is very relaxing, it hasn't helped me lucid dream. I find that it's a bit harder to fall asleep to the Lucid Remix (with echoing words spoken every so often), but it has given me more results. |
