      First Lucid Dream!!!!

Today I had my first lucid dream :bravo:

It started as a long non lucid dream which I don't remember. Then I realized I was dreaming (probably because of the alarm clock). First I was really excited then I calmed down remembering how that would wake me up. The first thing I remember doing was putting my hands into the river and changing the water to a rainbow color liquid. All the people around me were pretty freaked out.

After that I woke up but didn't open my eyes. I just imagined the next scene and 3 seconds later I was there. This repeated itself for 3-4 times. It was really cool but I don't remember too much of what happened. One problem was I didn't think of anything really cool to do like fly.

I'm going to try again tonight the same way. Go to bed at 12:00 and set the alarm for 4:00.

Hehe, well at first for months I did not think of anything better to do either. It would always be something stupid. Soon you will have you second ld, then 3rd, etc etc. You will get them more often. Most of what you need is to know you can do whatever you want. Like going on zombie killing rampages. Those are always fun. Especially when you have god mode on.

ah, the first lucid dream... always fun. as for thinking of stuff to do, it helps to have some goal that you already have planned, so you already know what youre gonna do. my currend goal is still that telephone thing...

Yeah, your chances are much greater if you have 8 hours of sleep, because REM sleep will happen 2 times as often in the last 2 hours of sleep, so if you sleep only 6 hours, your chances of a lucid dream are possibly cut in half! SO sleep well!

Wow I thought that most people automatically fly in their first lucid dream...

Mine was like that ... I just looked around and was like... wow.. im gonna fly arent I ? And hence I flew ... then I woke up...

But does it not feel like when you wake up from your first lucid dream you feel like a billion dollars... your just happy...???

that's fine. it would actually be better if you wouldn't do things like that in your first LDs. right now just try to stay in the dream as long as possible, staying as calm as possible. it would be good to increase the length of your lucid dreams first.

      and congrats.
