      STAY CALM

your dream isnt instantly going to end unless you get too excited.
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

Yeah stay calm and observe the dream around you. Focusing on the different senses. If you start rushing around to do everything just because its a dream you will become to excited. Adrenalin will be in the picture and your body jolts awake.

Whenever I feel the dream is drifting away, I just stare at my hand, trying to focus on it until everything becomes clear. If everything becomes blurry (as if drifting from the dream) focus on your hands. I've done that to extend a dream to about 5-6 minutes. It doesn't change the area around you either.

I read that before today, you can stop time, or slow it down in a dream.
You can make the dream seem to last several weeks instead of a few minutes, i read that one way is looking at a clock, and making it go slower, or simply stop.
Other methods are saying things like "Stop now!" or "Slow down!".
I never tried it personally, but i assume it should work.

When I was in the second grade, I could have sworn that that happened to me one night. I was lucid, except I thought I was just asleep and thinking, not necessarily dreaming. It was as if I went to sleep, immediately knew I was asleep, and while seeing nothing but black heard some children say in unison, "One, two, three, Hawaiian Punch!" I immediately woke up, and about eight hours had passed. I even felt really good, like I had had a long, deep sleep.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

      Oh hehe

That really sounded like a... bullet fast dream
I was thinking more about something like seeing things in slow motion, dodging and get a sense of dreaming slow.
