Finally broke this major dryspell I've been going through. Even though it wasn't the greatest of LDs, it was something.

I did notice something different in this one, however. I remember the feeling of being in both my dream and lying on my bed. I thought I've seen something about this on some other threads before, but wasn't sure.

DREAM
Most of the dream involved me getting chased by this King Kong-like giant. He was killing everyone but I somehow managed to escape by hidding under this giant leaf. So, I'm lying there and I know he senses me, but he can only see me if I move. I'm getting very uncomfortable and here is where I start to feel myself lying in bed as well as lying in the dream. Kong is then distracted by another survivor who was hidding. Instead of moving, however, I remain still - why? Because I thought that if I moved I would ruin my sleep paralysis and therefore lose the dream -- but I wasn't lucid at this point!(?) So how did I know I was dreaming?

Later on, there's a part when I'm hidding in someone's basement and they're having dinner with this Kong - like they know him. They decide not to rat me out and keep him distracted while I try to escape. Now, check this out - I'm hidding behind this pillar and waiting to become lucid so I can levitate and fly up the steps! Duh! Well, sure enough, it only took a few seconds for my body to lose gravitational pull and start floating.

Long story short - I fly up the stairway and outside while Kong chases me. I remember having no fear except for the fear of losing lucidity, for he would catch me then.

Anyway, my point is that I found it really weird how I was able to be in both the dreamworld and waking world and still find both of them just as believeable or "normal" even though I was able to compare the two.

NOTE: this dream was induced using a 4 hr. BWGen sequence which I programmed months ago but stopped using due to lack of success.
