      15 LDs/WILDs the other night!

Long accounts, but please read, as I have a question at the end that I need answered.

Ok so two nights ago was definitely one of the best nights I've ever had as far as dreaming goes. I'll try to recall as many as I can, although there were so many it is hard to remember their order, and everything that happened in them. The order of events will probably be unavoidably skewered. I won't post all of the LDs.

It started off pretty normal, a few dreams here and there. Then after about 9 hours of sleeping on and off, I woke up from a dream. I kept my eyes shut and tried to do a WILD. I felt the vibrations and within seconds entered the dream I had just left, except this time lucid. I was in a town and I began to fly over it. I decided I wanted to try my hand at breaking things. I pointed my finger at glass objects, making appropriate "bang" sounds with my mouth. I realized I didn't have much skill at it yet. I couldn't seem to shatter grass, just made a couple little holes in some car windows.

Then I woke up again, and tried to WILD again. This time I found myself in my grandparent's backyard (oddly I have many many LDs here). I was looking out over the mountains, which were bright gold, lit up brightly. Then I looked over west where the sun was setting and lighting up the clouds a rich orange hue. I flew up through a tree, but couldn't seem to find my way out. The branches seemed to extend forever, but finally I found my way out, and was looking out over the expanse of sunset, which was beautiful.

Another time I was in another WILD and remembered that I wanted to try a drug in an LD, so I reached into my pocket and pulled out a little box. I opened it, and yet again little box was inside it. I opened that one, and inside were lots of bluish beads. I swallowed a whole bunch, deciding it was LSD (I believe). It didn't turn out LSD-like at all. I started to feel a small high, and my vision slowed, but I couldn't seem to conjure a good drug LD at all.

As the series of WILDs progressed, I would keep waking up after a few minutes, and entering another WILD. The process intensified the longer I did it. At one point I felt the WILD vibrations, but they were stronger than usual, and were accompanied by a tunnel effect in my vision. I would then feel myself vibrating wildly (no pun intended) toward the edge of my bed. Then I felt myself fall off the edge of my bed, betweent he bed and the wall, and I felt the vent at my feet. I kept my eyes closed though, and entered more WILDs. This falling off the bed thing kept happening over and over, and felt very real.

In one LD I was back at my high school, and immediately I noticed how amazingly realistic everything was. I wanted so badly to take a snapshot of this so I could see it when I woke up. I looked at this plant, which was backlit by the sun, and when I move to the side, the light patterns changed accordingly. So I put up my hands to frame it and made camera clicking sounds, lol, hoping that I could save this somehow when I woke up. Of course, these pictures have not turned up since. I'll let you know if they do.

I had one "OBE" last night, or at least it really seemed like one. I was beginning to feel the vibrations of a WILD, and could feel myself leaving my waking body, so I instead of staying still, I tried to get up, and I pushed myself off of my bed, and felt myself being thrown out of my body, and I saw myself over my bed. My sleeping body was not in there, however. I went around through the house, trying to find something that I could read, to verify that I was OBEing. I don't recall finding anything. I went in my bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. I saw my reflection in there. Then I started slapping myself as hard as I could. I could only barely feel it, as if my face were completely numb. I just wanted to test that out. I don't remember how the "OBE" ended.

I had at least 3 or 4 different WILD LDs that happened in my church. I had a normal dream that happened in the church, with friends, and acquaintances there. I woke up from that one and WILDed back into the church (which is very large). I wanted to freak out my church companions by flying around and scaring them. So I hopped up into the air, and flew and swooped down over the church people, I suppose trying to make them think I was using magic or something. Suddenly one of my friends seemed to acquire the flying skill as well and took chase of me and grabbed my ankles and brought me down. Then I woke up, and WILDed back into the church again and had more flying experiences, nothing too interesting.

The remainder of my WILD LDs was spent trying to find this girl that I like, Julia. I wanted to find her and talk to her, and ask what she thought of me, and tell her what I thought of her, and to just hold her in my arms, and only that, because I respect her too much. So I entered several WILDs, and when I got in there I would use the storyline phrase tactic and would say "And then Julia appeared behind me," or "And then Julia walked up to me". But I could never find her. I would try picturing her in my mind, and then looking at people, trying to make her appear, but she never would. No matter how hard i tried, I couldn't find her, which was disappointing. During one WILD I ended up downtown and walked across the street looking for her, and went into a couple shops, calling her name. I walked into one shop, and suddenly saw the most beautiful girl I could imagine. She had bright blonde hair, blue almond-shaped eyes, a sweet smile, tan skin, petite body. I was mesmerized by her, and immediately forgot what I had come there for. So I walked up to her and looked her right in the face from a few inches away. I told her how beautiful she was and she just smiled. So then I started to kiss her. Next thing I remember is that I woke up.

I had a few more LDs that night, but the rest of them weren't particularly worth mentioning, and I don't remember them too well. Can someone please give me a couple tips on how to make someone appear in your dream? I cannot seem to get that technique down at all!

But in any case, that was one of the most succesful LD nights I've had.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

the best way iv found to make someone appear is to call out there name while you walk around and look in doors and stuff, chances are that they will yell your name back

also, i believe that all these WILDs were actually where you entered a false awakening and then WILDed inside the dream, iv done this before and it produced 10 in a row

Thanks for your response. I think next time, I will just call out her name and look around. I think I was too intent before, and it rose doubts of finding her.

I know that I did have 2 FAs that night, which I omitted from the accounts. But I do recall that some of the times I would open my eyes, and I am quite adept at knowing when I am awake when I really am awake. When I have an FA though, I tend to accept them as being awake, if you understand the difference. So I probably had a combination of WILDs going into FAs and back into WILDs... and WILDs, waking up, and going back into more WILDs. Either way I really don't care! Because if I have that much success I'll take it.

Wow, what a crazy night man. I only wish I could WILD successfully that many times in a row.

On finding people you intend, I too usually have trouble. Most of the time I would be in some kind of restaurant or downtown market and despite all of the people around, I couldn't get the one person I wanted to just appear. Occasionally, I will be in a closed room and stare intently at the door for a while and focus on the one person. After, I imagine them opening it and walking in after saying their name out loud. However, this has only a low succeeding rate for me but works every once in a while. I've learned to be more laid back with characters in my dreams and accept who comes. If they are important enough, they will appear eventually.

Premeditated worrying is a big barrier though. If you are worried and think you cannot make it work, then it won't. Just be more confident with yourself and your abilities, man.

I have had little success, but I'll share what has and has not worked.

Do NOT expect people to appear right in your vision. I've tried this several times, and usually the woman I want to appear in the dream is there, except invisible. We danced once, and the other time I could feel her looking over me.

Tell yourself that he or she is around the corner, or try to picture (also out of the field of vision) some evidence that they are near. Once I saw her name scrawled onto a wall, and I think I became lucid long enough to hunt through the school for her.

Also, as far as preparation work goes, you can think about the person multiple times throughout the day. I did that once, she appeared in one dream that sparked some five minute fantasies, and ended up having her show up in the range of five to ten dreams within two weeks.

I'll try these ideas. I think I'll think about this person a few times throughout the day, and right as I am going to sleep, and if I enter an LD I will just try visualizing the person and looking around for her calling her name. Not much else I can do.

Last night I had another WILD, and I had the same weirdddd experience repeat itself. I began to feel the vibrations, and I felt myself vibrating toward the edge of the bed, and I felt myself ROLL off the bed, plain as day! It felt completely real. Then I vibrated toward the head of my bed and got pressed against the wall. I wanted to open my eyes, but I knew that if I did, I'd just end up in bed. I entered an LD but wasted it. I got too interested in setting fire to things, and then went unlucid. Damn it, I hate when I waste a perfectly good LD *frown*.

As the vibrations began, though, I noticed that again I had this interesting "tunnel effect" in my vision. Does anyone else get this? It's hard to explain, but it's like there were some swirls, and my vision was zooming in like through a tunnel. Not colorful, just plain darkness. Anyone have this, or am I weird?
