I have had many LD's. And they started a long time ago, but my problem is I can never fly in my dreams. I can change what room I am in or who I am talking to or whatever else I want, but I cannot fly. Can anyone help me so I can fly in my dreams?

How do you attempt to fly? There are many methods. 1) Jump into the air and take it on faith you will fly 2) Say outloud (for some reason thinking it doesn't always work), I can fly, then do it. 3) Or you can do as Serinanth does and use wings Anyway, what have you tried?

I have tried verbal and visualizing.. but they don't seem to work for me. I will try what you said tonight and see where it gets me. Thank you very much.

I love flying, I fly in all my lucid dreams, at least from what i can remember! Sometimes when deciding to fly the easiest way in doing it is to not think of it as defying gravity, or flying. Just do it, dont concentrate, just do what seems 'natural'. When i think about it it takes forever and i have to concentrate REALLY hard, and i can't go very fast. Just don't make it into that big of deal, and 'just do it' without thinking too much into it...this works for me, maybe you should give it a try, and if i am wrong hunt me down...

yeah, just will it. Remember, its your dream, its all inside your head. You can will that your enviroment changes, you can will to fly.

ive had that problem with flying too, it may sound silly but try the superman pose. also whats ur method for changing who ur talking to?

I flew once in a ld just for the hell of it. I never really cared to but was curious once while in a LD. Anyways, I just believed I could and I did. It was not a smooth flight, but eventually I flew up into an upper atmosphere. The air was thin but who needs to breathe in a ld anyways?

flying rocks.... I've only done it once since I've only been able to get lucid once..... But I just wanted to fly... It was sort of in a DragonBallZ way, my energy makes me fly.

Flew in an LD last Saturday. Remember in Spiderman where he was swinging, laughing, and shouting? Just having a great time with it? That was how my last one was, loops, corkscrews, dives. Loads of fun. But then remembered I have a very long TODO list that I needed to work on, so landed and got on to other things!

DBZ was just the best way to describe it I guess, what I did is I could just levitate myself when I wanted and how I wanted, I sort of remember using my body a bit to steer but that was just because that felt natural, how I flew was just by pure willpower. No stance, no shouting, no practice.
