Thread: newbie with possible previous LD experiences

HI all,
first off this is my first post and my name is Tracy(though i am a guy ) the reason im posting here and not in the newbie section is because i think its best here...

any ways, i found this site off of www.digg.com and became very interested in lucid dreaming. I believe i have had several lucid experiences(and non lucid experience where i have had what may have been is dream control.) and possibly more (but i had very poor dream recall)

To start last night i recalled 4 or 5 dreams using the dream recall techniqe found here and i have started keeping in my dream journal. One of them i was lucid in but it lasted a short time and i was able to jump extremlly high but the details escape me. . i have already realized that i tend to dream about my old neighorhood, as well as wlking in my neighborhood at night.

otherwise i have one vivid experience where i became lucid in dreaming about my old house and i started telling everyone around the dream, "im dreaming this" and that was my first lucid dream.

I have had several dreams where i was "magic" and i was able to make several things happen seemingly at will wher ei used techniqes that are very similar to what some people explain here/

i have also had dreams where i could fly using the teqnique of "swimming" in the air, this actually is a very comon dream that i recall that i enjoy very much.

my finall one is one that recurrs often for me that is (i have a fear of hights, and i cant wait to jump from buildings ) where I jump from large random staircases (or large cliffs) in wich i end up bouncing off the ground or i wake up with the sensation that i have just fell into my bed.

also has anyone tried going to like fairs or amusment parks in a LD, and is it any good?

If someone who has LD experience can comment on these, thanks in advanced

Welcome on board! Sounds like your old neighborhood is a main dreamsign for you!

I've never been to an amusement park in a lucid dream, but I can imagine the rides you could create!
