Sleep paralysis is not related to lucid dreaming in any way, most of people never experience it or experience like once or twice per lifetime, but it seems like you are not one of the most, i have never experienced true sleep paralysis. Don't think there's any way to avoid it though, it's an sleep disorder, if it happens, it happens, if not, then not, but remember that sleep paralysis, as any HH, can be controlled by your thoughts, so think about something good if you experience it again and enjoy the ride.
That was a nice lucid experience though, congrats on it, two days is pretty short amount of time for first lucid dream, so i can say that you can have even more success if you continue, good luck!
