First and Last Lucid Dream (a real nightmare)

Well, Hi I'm new to the forum.. and i'd like to share my story with you

      SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH urgh..

My name is cedric and I was reading the first time about lucid dreaming like 10 months ago.. alot of people started posting stuff about lucid dreaming on 9gag.com that time. I was reading like all contend related to this topic and couldn't think about anything else that time. I went to work and read alot of stuff about LD, Methods, preparation etc. all day long. So, 2 days after i discovered LD i was like.. "hey, i should totaly try this!!" so did I. After only knowing about LD for about 48hours went to bed without any preparation apart from the "reality checks" --> watching all day long each hour on my hands telling myself "am i dreaming??!". I was in bed and was still thinking all time about LD after a few minutes i was asleep... I woke up at like 4 in the morning and was like.. hmm no dream at all :/ maybe i need more practice to get into LD..nevermind.. so after that i fell asleep again. BOOM i was dreaming! at one point in the dream i was like.. hmm "aaam ii dreaminng???".. wait something is wrong.. i watched at my hands.. i had like 7 fingers and it seemed a bit blurry.. i was like "yess, yess.. I AM DREAMING!" i watched in to the mirror and saw my face blurry. So this will sound random but in my dream i was at my old house where i lived as a child.. the first thing that came into my mind was going to the computer and started up youtube.com. I was like.. if this is a dream i should be able to find xxx (yeah i know.. haha) movies on youtube. So i typed in pr0n.. and there we go! i was now 100% sure that im fully in controll of my own dream (don't blame me for this check )! after that i was still to excited to really make antything "worthy to do like flying or something" but i knew that i should not overreact and start everything slow. I was looking trough a big corridor that conected our living room (where i was at the moment) with our kitchen.. there was barely any lights on.. it was all dark except a small light in the kitchen was on. I was like "omg this looks kinda scary... what if.. what if a big ugly fearing monster would walk around that kitchen corner right now this second?!" and BOOM there it was.. EXACTLY the monster i was imaginaging that a second ago.. it was the scariest shit ever.. EVER EVER EVER! belive me.. my mind isnt very clean (2 much horror movies/ games etc.) i literaly shit my pants there! it was sooo real! never had this much fear. The monster starts walking to my direction, i was starting to panic the shit out there in the living room. The monster was almost at my place as i remember "if you see scary things in a LD, you can imagine them transforming to funny things".. so in the last second i was like "BANANAAAA!" and this big scary monster turned into a funny looking huge banana. I was laughing out loud so hard in my dream that i woke.

(i had only on LD after this whre i could fly, IT WAS EPIC but also very blurry in my mind..)

This was an amazing feeling.. the first time i ever tried LD it was a fully yet scary success for me!
After this i just wanted to explre more and have more of this amazing feeling you get fro LD. I tried it again and something bad happend.. I was falling into the sleep paralysis. I didn't know about this until then.. i could'nt move. The scaryest noises i ever heard appered. Dark tall men with burnt faces and knifes stood around my bed.. breathing.. breathing. I did not know what to do. After like 20 seconds i could move my arm a little bit.. i was shaking my body, trying to shout out when i suddenly woke up with a heart beat feeling like 200beats/s.
After this happend i was researching alot about sleep paralysis on the internet.. for my bad, it happend again and again. I tryed to LD.. but fell into a deadly sleep paralysis.. night for night.. at one point i was menatly destroyed.. so i decided to quit Lucid dreaming because i did not want to fall into the sleep paralysis again.
I quit. but the paralysis went on. Night for night almost one month long.. i had alot of fear from sleeping and lacked alot of sleep. One day it stopped suddenly and never (well like one or 2 times in 10 months)happend again..

Soo now after this long time my friends got interested in LD aswell and i was like, "yeah.. actually.. i really want to do it again.. if i did it the first night fully successfully without any practice what would happen if i practice LD alot!?" i couldn't imagine.. so that's the reason why I want to overcome my fear of Sleep paralysis and start over again trying to get into epic LD adventures.

yeah that's my story (in short form).. thx for reading and again sorry for my english

btw.. any tipps to avoid sleep paralysis?

Sleep paralysis is not related to lucid dreaming in any way, most of people never experience it or experience like once or twice per lifetime, but it seems like you are not one of the most, i have never experienced true sleep paralysis. Don't think there's any way to avoid it though, it's an sleep disorder, if it happens, it happens, if not, then not, but remember that sleep paralysis, as any HH, can be controlled by your thoughts, so think about something good if you experience it again and enjoy the ride.
That was a nice lucid experience though, congrats on it, two days is pretty short amount of time for first lucid dream, so i can say that you can have even more success if you continue, good luck!
