      huge leap in LD control

yesterday I was driving down the road in my car and I looked at the side of the bridge I was driving over, this somehow brought me to the realization that when in an LD there are NO rules whatsoever, meaning that just because you’ve never been able to do something in your other LDs doesn’t mean that you wont be able to do it in your next LD, in fact, you not being able to do it in previous LDs means absolutely nothing... I don’t know what it was but something clicked and I realized for the first time that LDs are windows to infinite possibilities....

anyway here’s the LD I had last night (MILD induced):

I was walking outside to see if I could fly (earlier in the dream I found out that I could levitate) but just as I was walking out the door I briefly thought "what the fuck! I cant levitate..." so I did a reality check and I was dreaming () I then walked outside and was going to fly, so I stood still for a moment and I willed the entire dreamscape to move downwards, as I pulled it down with my mind it began to shoot off away from me at what seemed like at least a thousand mph, and before I knew it I was in the clouds looking down, unfortunately my mind couldn’t comprehend me moving so fast without any feeling of movement whatsoever (my body never moved, it was the ground that moved and I stayed stationary without any Gs) and suddenly I was about to wake up so I closed my eyes and began rubbing my hands, this brought me back to lucidity but I was on the ground, so I tried to do it again but the previous experience had left me jarred and all I could do was glide around, I thought about where I should go but nothing good came to mind, then I thought I would just explore and I heard my alarm clock going off in real life and awoke
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

So you willed the ground around you down? That's an interesting way to fly

Experimenting in your LD's is a very cool thing that I myself only really recently started doing. I've never moved my dreamscape around me before but I think I'll give it a try. Flying really is one of the coolest aspects of being able to control your dreams. I wish you good luck in your future LD's.

well it wasnt really flying, i never moved an inch and i never felt any g-forces on my body, it was like i was standing on an invisible platform and everything else was falling from under me, it was really pretty amazing

Actually, I understand. It seems what ever you are thinking about like air passing by or G forces that is what you will experience including what you experienced. However I have never tried that method before. Sometime I will use that one to blast off to other planets. Sounds like a good use of time.

When i fly i think of it as manipulating the energy around me to move me where i want to go i feel the wind and everything pushing against my face when i fly. I notice its easier for me to to things in my dream once I have seen it actually done hence DBZ kind of kiddish but it was the easiest way for me to learn to fly in my dreams. The reason it is the easiest way for me to do it is because by seeing someone else do it i can grasp the concept of how it was done and since it is not possible in real life i can take what i learned and apply it to dreams crazy concept but it works for me.

That's pretty cool, I've never tried it that way. When I try to fly I just jump in the air with the expectation of taking off and then I fly away. Sometimes it takes up to three jumps, but I never doubt that I'll actually take off.

This actually made me laugh because as I was reading your experience with the whole ground and sky falling down beneath you I was listening to the song Oceanlab - Sky Falls Down (AVB Dub).. there's some irony for you.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.
