So me and a friend were talking about lucid dreaming last night. I had no idea what it was right. So yeh know did a little research and stuff etc and we had a general long discussion about it.

Funnily enough the same night i had a random lucid dream, it happened in some medieval looking surreal courtyard. I think it was triggered by some black guy on some kind of Iphone looking thing and i just realized it was a dream. As soon as i realized it went a little hazy but then i just focused and then literally it cleared up like 1080p but better. So i started like flying around and stuff, taking control my surroundings, i changed the scene a bit. Was really weird though you'd go to change a scene and it would change you just don't have too much input to what it changes you. It was like a lack of creativity. Even though it would always change to something highly different/ creative. So i was like going through a few scenes flying, saw some power pylons like the massive ones. I started to bust them up and pull them apart, just to kind of see if i could. playing god in a sense. Anywho so the dream went on scene changed again, but eventually a friend unleashed some zombies, i don't know why but the concept of it scared the w/e out me, so i flew off. And then like i didn't wake up but the world just turned black, Me being me i was like well i've woken up from dreams before so i closed my eyes shut hard and opened them but nothing happened. Was still just pure blackness, kind've like i was there but i wasn't i kind of stayed calm and then panicked. I didn't wake up, but like i didn't dream on. I think i just slept i can't remember past it... It's kind of like how you never seem to remember something before you fall asleep.

So i was just curious has anyone ever had a similar experience with the blackness? It was really scary. I read a little into sleep paralysis, but in sleep paralysis people hallucinate etc and my actual eyes weren't open. In my situation there was like nothing. Just pure black, no depth or anything. It didn't last very long at all, but i was very aware.

I also noticed that my consciousness doesn't act the same when it's in a dream state. It doesn't care too much about actions consequences etc. Also it has nowhere near as much thought power.
I also had 2 or other dreams that night (non lucid) i just can't clearly remember them.
