Question Hey guys, recent lucid(ish?) experience.

Hey so I recently had a dream that kind of was lucid but at the same time it wasn't?

I was on a dancefloor with a random girl and I thought to myself in my dream "Well it's a dream anyway so I might aswell try out some moves".

So then I could see my self in third person where I was dancing and then the dream changed to something else.

Now when I woke up I soon remembered that this happend but I wasn't aware of that it was a dream even though I thought to myself that it was in my dream. It's hard to explain haha but does anyone care to explain if this is normal or something

Yeah, its normal, I get it all the time, it definitely is a lucid dream but you just wasn't fully conscious, it sometimes annoys me when I have an awesome dream like this and I wake up and I realise I wasn't in control, had a dream the other day what was like this and just before I woke up while I was still in the dream it felt like I was just about to become fully lucid, it felt I was slowly becoming more and more conscious but I woke up. Anyway keep at it your definitely close.

As Legacy said this was definitely a lucid dream because you seemed to be aware of the fact that you are dreaming. I have had some lucid dreams as well that I wasn't fully/partially in control of. I guess that's quite normal and many people encounter this. I'm working on my dream control, but i still have lucid dreams that just keep changing its surroundings and storylines without giving me a chance to control them so I just passively observe the dream.
Are you doing RCs frequently? That would have been the easiest way to be absolutely sure whether it was a dream or not
Saying there is no alien life in the universe is like dipping a cup in the ocean and saying there are no whales.

You can check out my previous thread that I created ^^ I have managed to get some pretty cool lucid dreams before this, it's just weird that I started having these lucid-ish dreams when I used to have real lucid ones ^^ But thanks for the feeedback!!

As I said to Legacy you can check out my previous thread if you haven't seen it ^^. That surround and storyline-changing really grinds my gears, I know that feeling man, I'm not really doing RC's as much as I used to.. been to lazy recently Wish you all the best with your dream controlling!
