      Third lucid!

I was on the lift hill for Nitro (one of my favorite rollercoasters). It almost seemed to act as the entryway to the dream. After I got off, I looked at my hands. I had six or seven fingers on my right hand. I got a little excited because I hadn't had a lucid in a while. I think I had a false awakening because someone woke me up and I go mad that I didn't get to do anything.

I went "back to sleep" focusng on going back in the dream and I did. I was already lucid and I grew wings so that I could fly. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that the wings went a little passed my shoulders and were black. As I looked, some of the feathers started to turn white. I realized I had to go outside to fly. I had trouble flying so I told myself "you can fly, this is a dream" and remembered I had to be confident that I could fly. I guess I had semi low lucidity because my iPad was on the ground, and I thought I should look up how to fly in a lucid dream on DV haha. Still, I couldn't fly so I walked next to a tree.

I wanted to expiriment so I imagined that there was super glue that stuck me to the ground. Sure enough, I was stuck to the ground. I thought how amazing that was that I could just think something and it would happen. A couple seconds later, I imagned the glue was gone and I could walk again.

I tried to fly again with no success. Flapping my wings required using my shoulder blades. I flapped them fast and slow, but still only went a foot or so off the ground before falling back down.

After that, I couldn't really remember anything after that. All I remember was being with two kids, a boy and a girl. I had really low lucidity at that point that's probably why I didn't remember that much. Eventually, I woke up.

When I woke up, I was so happy because I didn't have a lucid dream in about three weeks. After changing my technique from DILD to really no technique, I finally had one again.

For my technique, I pretty much just look at my hands when I feel something is weird and ask myself what my last meal was. When I'm trying to fall asleep, I just think about lucid dreaming and have one.

      Congrats on lucid dream!
Yeah, be more confident when you fly next time, because you can do it, expect it to happen!
And your technique sounds like some form of MILD, and looks like it works, which is nice.
Also if you have false awakenings, do reality check every time you wake up/get off the bed.

Yea the technique really works for me because I had another lucid dream last night! I found my dream guide and it was the longest lucid dream I've had yet! I asked my dream guide to teach me how to fly, but I still couldn't. But I'm getting better!
