Congratulations on your first lucid! |
|
So last night I believe I had what was my first lucid dream. I wont bother with the non lucid part because there wasn't anything in it that made me lucid. So i was just in my yard, and I thought to myself "Hang on, i'm dreaming." There wasn't anything out of the ordinary, I just realized it. So I performed my 3 main reality checks, looking at my hands, trying to push my finger through my palm, and blocking my nose and trying to breathe, and these confirmed I was dreaming. I felt a kind of rush, and I knew I was going to wake up soon. I tried stabilization, first I started spinning, because I've read that this works, but then I for some reason closed my eyes, and opened them quick enough to stay in the dream, but it was fading dark. I tried to rub my hands together, but it wasn't working and I woke up. Still, pretty happy with it though. I think i'll be able to increase my dream recall and have more LD's now, because I've got a 2 week break from school now that the term has ended. |

I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.
'Dreams are real while they last. Can we say more of life?'
'We die to remember what we live to forget'
Congratulations on your first lucid! The first lucid or first few lucids do tend to be like that in part due to excitement. Once you get used to the idea, and are a bit calmer, you should be able to stabilize your dream. Best. |

Congrats on the lucid... Spinning is not a good technique to make the dream stable, it can ruin it easily... |
