So, I had a really weird dream last night, I'm not sure what was going on.

The dream started out normally, I did some irrelevant stuff, was in a shop with some friends eating candy (quite a vivid dream for me, actually) and then I was walking out of the shop, into the street. Usually at that point I'd wake up because the point of the dream had pretty much passed, but instead I stopped walking suddenly and just thought, "Oh my god, I'm dreaming. I can lucid dream!" but the thing is when that happened my dream had shifted to third person, I was watching myself as I realised this (the dream before that was in first person), but then something weird happened. I kind of waited for a second for something to happen, and then the world just really quickly dissolved around me and I could only see black, and this is the part that felt most real, I'm not sure if I was awake or dreaming, I could feel myself lying down in bed, but it was still black and I couldn't move, then I just felt this really weird burning, tingling sensation go all over me and spread from my chest, it didn't hurt it was just really weird, and then another scene appeared before me, I was in a stone box of a room underground somewhere.

I thought how cool it would be for a unicorn to appear, and it did. Then the scene changed and we were in a field at night, and I rode the unicorn around for a bit and then it turned into a unicorn pegasus and I flew around on it for a while. But at this stage it was just like a normal dream, but in the dream I knew I was dreaming but I wasn't really... there. Does that make sense? I mean, I knew I was dreaming but it didn't feel really vivid, I don't know.
And then I thought 'I hope no werewolves appear' and of course, one did (they appear in almost all of my dreams and I'm terrified of them), then I thought 'at least I can fly around forever on this unicorn' and of course it got tired and crashed, then the werewolf chased me up a tree.
Now, all of that was foggy and seemed like a normal dream just a tiny bit different, was I dreaming about having a lucid dream?
Then the only part that felt vivid again was me in that tree, closing my eyes and thinking to myself 'Wake up, wake up, wake up!' and then I did, and I did a reality check and I was awake.

So was that a lucid dream, me dreaming about being lucid, or a mixture between the two? Because, I knew I was dreaming but it didn't feel like me again, like I wasn't controlling it properly and it didn't feel like it was actually happening, and I think it went third person a couple of times just like a normal dream. Thanks for any help!

P.S - Is the third person thing a problem when it comes to triggering lucid dreams? Because most of my dreams are in third person. Can I fix this?
