360 vision

Okay, I think I came realy close to pulling this off. I had a LD this morning, and instead of remembering this month's dream tasks, I decided to do some other things. I did look in a mirror, and watched a silver fog fill up the reflection, my face going last. (The reflection was clear and accurate to my real face though) I did some monk-style levitation, which was fun, and at the same time, decided to try 360 vision. I managed to quickly broaden my field of view, and watched things in the center of sight seem to recede into the distance. What I couldn't seem to do, though, was make the edges of my vision "meet up" behind me. The closer I got, the more "tension" there was. Has anyone else tried this? I could use some advice on the topic, it seems like it would be realy cool to be able to do!

I've never done this, but I can imagine it. My suggestion would be not to try and go about it all at once, but pick points in the room. Look around first to get a feel for what is around you. Then, focus on two spots: the one directly in front of you, and one directly behind you. Then focus on the two points to your right and left sides, one at a time. If you need to, continue to pick points at 45-degree angles until you are able to see each area of the room. The biggest obstacle, I would think, would just having a clear image of the room in your head before trying the full-blown thing. Like right now, I can imagine the room around me (a computer lab) and picture the whole thing clearly. If you haven't try starting in a place that is very familiar and perferably without too many intricate details, unless you can clearly incorporate those as well. Hope I was helpful. -Amé
