      [2nd LD] Mirror experience

      Hi,
it's the first time I'm posting here. Btw, really nice site/forum

I just had my second lucid dream
I was in a small flat which i recognized as a friend's one. My lucid seeing was quite good, but to make it even better I repeated "aware" all the time .. it helped at least a bit. Anyway, I didn't really know what to do in my dream, so i just walked around in the flat. Suddenly I saw a big mirror in hanging on the wall in front of me. It was giled on its borders. I wasn't sure if i should take a look at my dream-self because I somewhere read that it might be "strange" .. but hey, no risk no fun So, I watched myself in the mirror. I basically looked the same as in real life, but everything was kinda deformed. My facial expression was weird too. Afterwards I left the mirror and walked around in the flat again. I thought of this girl, which I know for a long time and wanted to make her a part of my dream. As i entered another room, I saw her sitting at a long dinner table. She somehow looked a bit frustrated as I went to her. I wanted to touch her face, but as I did my lucidity awareness was gone and i woke up.

Is there something I can interpret in the mirror-part of my dream? What is it with this mirror-thing in dreams anyway?

I think I'll reduce my activities to more basic things like touching a non-living thing or .. hhm .. we'll see
      Nevertheless it was really cool!

Dang it, you should have broken the mirror. Then you'd complete one of the lucid tasks for the month.
      DOH!
