hour long LD !!!

I had about an hour long LD. Unfortunately my recall is bad and I remember just some parts of the dream. So here are the bits and pieces of my dream... Once I became aware that I am dreaming I immediately started rubbing my hands together to stabilize it. Then after a while of doing I don't know what (recall). I remembered that I could loose my lucidity so I thought: "Yes this is still a dream I'm still lucid" The next thing I did was the command: "increase lucidity and clarity" and it indeed worked. It worked so well that when I looked at the floor I saw textures. I got close to the floor because I wanted to see if my other senses worked, so I smelled the floor and it had a smell. Then I licked the floor and it had a taste (I don't know why I didn't summon me a lobster or something ). I even felt the wind blowing. Then I saw bunch of DCs and I told them that I am dreaming but they didn't believe me so I told them that I could make wings to grow on me. So I said: "and then my wings grew". Suddenly some movie theme LOTR type music started and my shirt ripped and then my wings grew. I saw my shadow on the floor and it had wings. I tried flying but I couldn't move my wings it was like someone just attached them as if they weren't a part of my body. Well that's the last thing in that dream I remember. I know that after that I had a FA and I did a RC and then it faded. Maybe it doesn't sound an hour long, well yeah it could be a little bit shorter but it seemed long. I remember saying:" wow this LD is like an hour long". At one time I even didn't know what to do (am I stupid or what, I have so many things to try but didn't remember to do it ). I never had such a long LD maybe it was tuna with mayo I ate for dinner or maybe the enormous amount of coffee I drank. I don't know.

Congratulations on your LD (whether it was a full hour or not makes no difference as it was a great experience for you)! I never thought about having "wings" spring from my body.. how cool is that!! I'm definately adding that to my list of things to do next time I'm lucid (maybe that could be one the monthly "lucid tasks")!!

Sounds like a fun dream. I should try sniffing and licking stuff sometime. I have never tasted anything in an LD that I can remember. I just had my first hour-long LD a couple days ago too

isnt there enough licking and sniffing that can be done in real life? i personally would try and find something more meaningful to do if i can get some damned LDs!!!

Damn... Ive been trying to get LD some weeks now. It is just not happening. It seems to impossible. Ive had one LD. I was walking in the city where I live, and some strange things was happening. I started thinking about maby I was dreaming. I went to a place where I started reading. It was so strange when I was gonna read that I found out that I was dreaming. Then I woke up... Impossible..

Wow sounds fun man! Ive never herd bout the rubbing your hands together to stabilize your dream. And your wings probably didnt work because you only asked for wings, not for them to allow you to fly. Its crazy that whatever your mind actually believes in your dream it happens Sweet dreams lucid seakers!

Ohh....A yes, specific...Thats why i didn't get a big mirror, even though i wanted to.. Anyway, when i make cool stuff happen i don't talk like it happened a long time ago, IE: Then the school blew up. I rather do it this way: Blow the school up! Does it make any difference? Also, remember that you could have shown them in a lot of ways, like...summoning something...And another way would always be saying: "You will realise i am dreaming!" Or "Then they realised he was dreaming." Or something...Ah yes, Lucid Dreams is the best thing since...Eh...Something.

Ah, an hour long lucid dream! That sounds transplendid. My first lucid dream probably lasted 6 minutes. Heh.

I read it somewhere on this forum that that's a good way to summon things...like telling a story..."and then the school blew up" You can summon things anyway it works for you.
