First lucid? please review thanks!

hey there, i am new to lucid dreaming but i am sure i had something of the sort last nite, my alarm went off about half 7 when i was sleeping, i drifted back off to sleep and i remember being in a field with water and a beach at one side, i remember thinking to myself i want to fly, so i kept trying to get off the ground and i was finding it difficult, i was getting higher in the air and remember finding it scary landing and coming down slowly. As i found it easier to do this as the dream went on i found that as i was concentrating on flying which was amazing i had a cramp sensation in my feet, what do u think?

Hello. That does not sound like a lucid dream because no where in your post do you mention that you were aware it was a dream when it was going on. (Unless you did know it was a dream at the time but you just left out that part.) The awareness of it being a dream is what makes a dream lucid. It does sound like a good dream, and that is the kind of thing a person might do if they were lucid. But it is not uncommon for a person to have magical powers like flight and not realize it is a dream. As you become more familiar with the concept and think about it more, next time you get in that situation you might realize it is a dream and have a real lucid dream. Good luck.

Congrats! If you were aware that you were dreaming then you have attained lucidity. As for that cramp, as far as the mind is concerned, your body is simply reacting.

thanks for your comment guys! i was aware that i was dreaming, but not fully, it was as if i realised i was dreaming right towards the end of the dream.....better luck next time i suppose lads, nice one!
