I had my first real lucid dream last night. I was walking in a store that seemed a lot like Wal*Mart when it felt like this voice in my head just shouted "HEY YOU"RE DREAMING!" and I knew instantly. I didn't get too excited cause I knew that might wake me up. Instead I walked around trying out things. I could move things with my fingers and lift them up in the air. I even tried flying, but I didn't get farther than jumping high. It was pretty fun. It was like, the whole time I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't quite understand the fact that I was asleep in my bed. I dunno. Maybe I was just having too much fun to think about anything. I know I remember thinking about this site, though...anyways, it was great and I can't wait until my next one. |

Dream Journal: Dreamwalker Chronicles Latest Entry: 01/02/2016 - "Hallway to Haven" (Lucid)(Or see the very best of my journal entries @ dreamwalkerchronicles.blogspot)
Yeah, my first lucid was a similar experience. I knew I was dreaming, but I wasn't thinking, "I'm asleep, and right now my real body is sitting in my bed, and this is all happening in my head." I was just aware that everything was fake. It's just low lucidity I think. I also couldn't fly, just jump high. It's weird how this site stands out and you remember things from it in your dream. I remembered particular suggestions from the site, but I don't think I really knew where they came from. I just remembered, "oh, i can't get too excited." |
