      Newbie has another lucid dream!

Well, I only really started getting into this lucid dreaming stuff about ten days ago when I got LaBerge's book Lucid Dreaming from the library. Since then I have had four lucid dreams, including the one I just woke up from.

I was at my favorite place for pizza around here, and for some reason the people behind the counter knew the Russian alphabet and were using it for something (I don't remember what). I thought it was a bit odd since the people working there are usually dumber than a box of rocks, but didn't think much of it. Then one of them suddenly told me something to the gist of "50% of my dreams are lucid". Well, that got me thinking about lucid dreams, and then another thought hit me: what if I'm dreaming right now? Wait a second, I am dreaming right now! I decided to do a reality check to confirm it, by seeing if I could put my finger through my palm, and it worked! My first failed reality check! I was so happy that I got up on one of the tables and started jumping from table to table screaming "Mi estas en lucida revo! Mi estas en lucida revo!" (which means "I am in a lucid dream!" in Esperanto).

I then proceeded to have a smoke and get it on with some very attractive ladies. Ahh, the wonderful world of lucid dreams! It was probably the longest lucid dream I've had so far, lasting about ten minutes before my false awakening. Well, I'm going back to sleep now. That is, if I still can with all this excitement. Maybe I can get into that dream again.
“The sleep is still in my eyes
The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile
And lie a while in bed
I wish that it might come to pass
Not fade like all my dreams” —Rush

Four of 'em, and you just found out about it? *grumblegrumblenot fair*

I didn't know anybody spoke Esperanto anymore... I'm kinda into artificial languages; I don't really speak any, but I think that's pretty cool!

Well, I didn't just find out about them. I've had them every once in a while for several years, but I've only really started researching them recently.

And yes, there are plenty of people who speak Esperanto. About two million, in fact. There are even a few hundred native speakers. The language was fresh on my mind at the time because I had been contributing at the Esperanto Wikipedia before I went to bed.
