      Because I feel like it...

This is the only "lucid" dream that I can remember during my childhood, before I recently had my first full fledged lucid dream. It happened when I was about 7.

I was sitting in a soft red movie theater chair. YOu know, the kind that folds up if you aren't sitting on it. I looked around and I was the only one there. The theater I was in was massive. If you've ever been in an Imax theater, imagine that times two or three. There were millions of chairs all in stadium seatin (slowly rising). This theater didn't have a screen, it was for plays. There was a large stage at the front where a red curtain was currently draped. I looked up the curtain, it was so tall (considering how small I was...).When I looked back down, I noticed my sister and my mom climbing stiars on the side of the stage to get on the stage, and going behind the curtains. I got up and ran into the aisle and all the way to the front. When I got behind the curtains, I found myself in a huge room. It was like an enourmous warehouse, except with only one thing in it...

At the center of the large room was a rocket ship, which looked like how they draw them in cartoons. It was very tall, reaching almost all the way to the ceiling. All up the side of it was a ladder. Halfway up the ladder was my sister, waving down at me. She very quickly climbed down and I asked her where mom was. She pointed to the right and I saw my mom far away in the room, looking around. I decided to climb the ship, so I went over to it and began my ascent. I got extremely high, almost to the top, when for no reason I looked down below me. My mom and sister were going to climb up too. I yelled to them "NO! IT'S TOO MUCH WEIGHT!", but I was too high up and they didn't hear me. They were both on and started climbing, when the entire massive structure started to topple over. they were low enough so that they just jumped off and landed safely on the gorund. I grabbed onto the rocket, which was suddenly thin enough for me to wrap my arms around. I was falling very fast, and I could actually feel the g-forces. I said to my self "IT's just a dream! It'll be ok.", but I was immensely scared. I kept saying that to myself over and over. I was about to crash into the ground when I said to myself angrily "IT'S JUST A DREAM!!!". I then instantly woke up with a start.

I remember that dream clearly to this day... And now it's in writing!

That sounds like it would have been weird to climb a big rocket Cool dream though.

Nah, that was the only one I can remember having. My brother and sister, on the other hand, are definitely naturals. I would hear about they're dreams and wish that I could realize i was dreaming. That was the closest I ever got.

It wasn't till about a month or two ago that the interest was rekindled, and I found out it was called Lucid Dreaming.

      ...and here I am!
