      First Lucid Dream Experience

Last night I has my first Lucid dream, after a few weeks of trying. It was very short because I woke up immediately, like so many others. It crazy thing though... as soon as I realized that I could have control over that dream, a wave a near ecstacy rolled through me. From head to toe is was pure bliss. It was very short lived but it definately happened! Is this normal, has It happened to anyone else, ever?!!?!?!

      First, welcome to the boards!

Second, congrats on the Lucid dream, and yes what you experience is quite normal. When they realize they are dreaming, most people get excited and wake up. You're gonna have to ask other people for advice on how to stay concentrated though..

Welcome and gongratulations on your first LD

The first experience in LD's is almost allways very short lived. This is totally normal. If you want informations about staying lucid, look at the tutorials section or search the threats. See you...

      Welcome and congrats!

I second, third? what these guys said. Also, you will find as you continue to LD, that your mood and sense of wonder while awake will also improve. I don't know why, but it is this way with me. Maybe I'm just wierd?

      You others feel this?

      Seeker... you speak the truth.

LDing definately makes me look at what actually is real in a different light.

the large bold text isn't really necessary. we can read just fine.

and yes, pretty much everyone feels that bliss when they have their first lucid dream. it's just that good. congrats, lucid dreamer. ^ -^

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
