Well, within just a few days of coming back to DV, Ive had a lucid dream. Just needed to get back into it again. Well it was a short one, but a good one.

I was being chased by a Bear when I thought "Well of course this is a dream". So i climbed up a tree like a monkey and watched the bear leap up at me. He could jump really high and was biting right under my feet. I laughed and jumped a good 100 yards away, ran, and I lost lucidity and then had a more exciting dream that I wont get into detail, but during that dream I realized I was dreaming and just decided to let the dream go the way it was going.

But to be on the safe side, make sure you do your RC while still running! I know I don't want my gravestone to read:

Hey Gameover! Haven't seen you in a LONG time! How's stuff been?

I had a similar LD last night...'cept I was being chased by a dog. Realized I was dreaming and did this really cool fire-fisted punching thingie...but the dog got up and started spouting lightning. Pretty amusing...Anyway, I kept fighting for a bit, but the lucidity wasn't great, so it was like punching through molasses. Really slow and all...well, it didn't last long either, but I did manage to reduce the dog to ashes.

Congratulations on your dream! Hope you have more lucid dreams to come.

Sometimes it pays to scrutinize your situation. Last night, I was riding the bus, naked, and was quite embarrassed, since I could remember such a thing happening in dreams before, but never in reality like this. A few minutes later the obvious hit me and I had a really fun lucid dream.

Oh, that's a laugh riot. That's totally the thought that goes through all our heads at one time or another, isn'it?

If I was being chased by a bear in real life, though, I might be smiling and laughing too hard from the excitement. "Holy crap! I'm actually being chased by a bear! This is real life!"
